they ruined it

i 100%ed this game around 6 times across different pc versions (1.06, 1.12, 1.2, 1.6) and the printed disc, unpatched pre-release base ps4 and base xbox one versions.

so i can say its pretty good

for just being a game i think bonelab is fine compared to boneworks, it feels about the same in a more general sense, although i dont have many hours at the moment so id rate it up here

for being a wick simulator though, i say boneworks is superior- bonelab here has the security guard enemy which is more realistic than ford and all, but the avatar system makes it a bit complicated (fords avatar feels infinitely better than any of the mods i tried or even most of the vanilla) in terms of throwing and overall feel, and another issue is the goofy ahh hitboxes seem even worse, you can counter a punch away from you then still get damage (red screen), and last of all all the guns except p350 seem to take 2 shots to kill even with a headshot, so the weapon choice is also super limited. hopefully in a month or two from now this is fixed but i sadly have to downrate this at the moment
