Feels pretty polished for a roguelite. There's a lot of love put into the graphics and it is fully voiced.

There are a lot of quality of life tweaks to shave off the rough edges. There's an Hades style easy mode where your damage resistance goes up every time you due. They clearly call out that you can save your progress at the beginning of each room of a run.

I really appreciate the dirty casual difficulty setting. I am terrible at these kind of games. thank you!

- Having your standard melee attacks generate shots for your powerful gun attacks (for stunning or heavy damage) feels good. Combat is animated well so your gun attacks feel impactful.
- The story is much more mythical than I expected from the steampunk setting but it is enjoyable. They put a lot of effort into having the boss characters interact in cutscenes before you encounter them in the game.
- Finding and petting (rescue) the dogs is the main search side quest.
- Level/ability pacing is well done. I felt I was getting new abilities pretty consistently throughout the game.

Amazing followup to an amazing old school feeling exploration roguelite.

The animations are sound effects are pretty satisfying. Your character looks like a wind dancer when navigating and I feel like Wolverine while I shank some evil spirits.

This game is a double whammy. I love it for the tight controls and excellent gameplay. My 3 year old son loves it for Kid Mode.
- THIS GAME IS THE BEST FIRST GAME FOR BEGINNING PLAYERS. Kid Mode is amazing! My son is just starting to play video games and this game is his go-to game. He struggles with general stick movement and pressing a button and the stick at the same time. However, he has learned how to complete Kids Mode by himself. Just watching him squeal with joy as he puts out fires and rescue kittens is a delight. Please make more Kid Mode! Please release an editor!

This game is perfect for my 3 year old.
- He really loves making Boo fall off the platform.
- He can eventually make it thru a level.
- The controls are great for toddlers who can move a control stick and press buttons (if not at the same time).

- Great couch co-op space game.
- Very playable as a solo experience. You can pilot and control one of the turrets when playing solo.
- The button layout feels a bit complicated compared to other couch co-op games.
- Colorful and pleasant theming.

Unique motorcycle combat that looks and feels badass. However, it is effectively patting-your-head-and-rubbing-your-belly-at-the-same-time. You have to maintain your cycle's rotation to block bullets, reload, and not land on your head. At the same time, you gotta bullet time target and shoot enemies before they snipe you. it's pretty complicated and is as unforgiving as a Hotline Miami game. Neat if you can handle it.

This game is pretty intense emotionally. It paints the best video game depiction of post apocalyptic despair I've ever seen. Warning! kids get tortured and killed.

Finally, the REAL dark souls aspect of this game is the navigating. This game has the worst map/objective navigation I've seen in a game worth playing. The map never reveals itself. You can't drop pins in the map. Objectives are not marked on the map. You have to blindly find a person in the unmapped areas to even reveal the terrain. Characters will tell you the location of a quest once (in vague terms) and then never talk about it again. There are no directional callouts by characters. There are a few road signs, but they call out far away locations you're not even trying to travel too. Many objectives require you to loop around an area and enter it from an unexplored direction. Area exits are confusing with the blank map and nature of the motorcycle driving. Yuck! If the developers do any design patching, they need to fix this FIRST.

My 10 year old daughter really likes this game. The school theme and strategy appeals to her.
