The absolute gem of extraction games. Dark and Darker combines gameplay aspects from different genres: extraction (Tarkov), interactive medieval combat (Chivalry/Mordhau), economy sim (any game featuring this) and some micro-mechanics more. Just like Tarkov, you get to experience the game in form of (hopefully soon regular) wipes, so if that's not for you, well, I'm sorry for you. You can do quest lines to earn rewards and unlock craftables, base gear and more variety per shop cycle for each merchant. It has a pretty repetetive gameplay loop especially if you've memorized every map and the mobs' attack patterns yet every run has that slight risk and ring of danger to it which makes me stay with Dark and Darker.
