First 2 hours have been amazing. VIsual style and music top notch. Combat is G R E A T.

Awesome soundtrack, great gameplay, story and setting both top notch

A diverse two-player adventure, full of fun surprises!

GOTY Material. Keeps you coming back for more say, like, everyday ad infinitum? Gameplay is very satisfying along with the style and OST (oh man when it just KICKS in).

Also: you actually can't wait to die and get to talk all the colourful characters time and time again in order to unravel the story.

A game with such a creative and very friendly community; Creativity ranging from funny character names to most amazing player housing aesthetics, player glamour (= like WoW's transmog) and community events. Lots and lots of homage to other Final Fantasy games and made with love. Dungeons and boss battles (called Trials) are mostly fun and there are lots and lots of 'em. Crafting and gathering is a whole new world in this game.

Biggest flaws in the game:
- very long and maybe tiring base game storyline (A Realm Reborn), which you have to play before proceeding to expansion storylines and content.
- not enough space for all the glamours/transmogs (Game calls it Glamour Dresser, which has 400 items at most at the time of writing, used to be 200).

Especially recommended if you like: stories and amazing music

Rewarding, addicting, fun.

Played for hours on a daily basis on mobile and this PC version seems to be even better because of all the quality of life changes (AND 120 FPS Full HD is nice).
Great events (and the events are pretty frequent!).
New features/whatnot are added to the game too - Job Change was added quite recently.

Try it, especially if you like Final Fantasy.

UPDATE: These days the game is even more beginner friendly with the addition of Novices' Hall.

WHAT A THRILL this game is.

The real weapon to surpass Metal Gear is horse crap.
