This game....was a wild ride, from start to finish. And no, I'm not talking about the 'adventures' betwen Kai, the main character, and his crush, Sophie. Barely legal boi Kai, armed with raging hormones and infatuation for some bimbo named Sophie must do battle with his childhood friend Chris, who is vying for his love. It's a love triangle? Except Chris and Sophie hate each other. So, like a love chevron.

Personally, for its length, the game lacked points where you can make choices. These were placed admittedly well in important places to steer the story in the intended direction, but a little more decision-making points would be nice. The decisions themselves make an impact on the story and, to some extent, how the characters will interact with you. Good art style, nice drawings (ahem ahem), decent writing. BGM gets a little repetitive, though, but who plays for that? On a side note, the 'patch' is...interesting. Way too distracting to play with them on, if you know what I mean. I'm only done with one ending, though, so I guess it's back to the game for me.

Lots of the dialogs are back-and-forth convos between Kai and his childhood friend, Christine, the eponymous tomboy who needs love. Too. Most of these are banter and some of it feels weird and awkward, and some decisions made by Kai are questionable, to say the least. Who the ♥♥♥♥ goes on and decide that peeping on their female friend in the shower is ever a good idea? Damn, bro, you looking to get arrested or something? Even worse that not all decisions made by him is decideable, as mentioned earlier. What few actions you can decide on can make an impact. Eat the ♥♥♥♥♥ out of your crush like its an all you can eat seafood buffet. And somehow you get addicted and start shagging her in school and get caught by *gasp* Chris. And that's ending number 1. It's actually pretty silly if you think about it.

Gameplay-wise it's your standard click-dialog-and-see-what-happens dating simulator type thing. It does have a few options to fiddle around with like text scroll speed and BGM volume. There's a 'back' function for dialog and its useful too; if you overclick dialog and missed something juicy, then just hit that and BOOM, you're a time-traveller and Sophie is standing there oblivious that your previous choice led to you eating out seafood with her in a back alley. Useful. Oh, and there's quicksave/quickload functions AND manual save points. Damn useful.

So? Should you get it? Maybe. If you have 10 bucks to throw and like this type of thing then throw it and get this. Honestly it would be better to get it on sale or something. Don't expect a tale for the ages type of thing with this. Realistically, expect a decently written fan fiction with pretty decent art.

P.S. Don't install the patch if you're playing this with your parents.
P.S.S. Avoid the patch if you wanna focus on the story instead of Chris' personality.
P.S.S.S. I have no idea how this P.S. ♥♥♥♥ works.
P.S.S.S.S. Oh and I missed out on buying platinum for Warframe. For this. Huh, maybe it's a worthy investment after all.
P.S.S.S.S.S. The endings and branching paths you can take are varied enough to warrant multiple playthroughs. Sure there's an ocean of filler dialogue to sift through but the game has a S K I P function. Lets you fast forward and skip all dialogue until you stop it or you reach a branchpoint. Damn useful.

Its a dumbed down World of Tanks, being made simpler and more accessible. Not surprising as its a mobile port of the computer game ported back to the PC (wtf?). Honestly in my opinion you're better off getting the full main game. That one's free too.

Coming from Robocraft this game does have similarities: Build your own vehicles, slap weapons on them and wage war with them. Except Robocraft has a more PvP aspect to it I think, and doesn't have the resource gathering aspect as much as TerraTech has. So, is it good? Well, kinda.

Controls are simple. WASD to move, and Space to shoot. Aiming's auto-aim though, which could be a blessing or a curse. Mouse is for block manipulation. B is to levitate your creation via a tractor beam for easier construction. Do note that your creation is tied to the driver cab, so if you accidentally detach it, the rest of the tech falls apart. Thankfully there's an undo button for it.

So you start with a small, basic design. Few blocks, a cabin, a peashooter. You start killing enemies, salvage their parts, maybe dabble in the 'missions' a bit. By missions, I mean objectives you can fulfill by doing X thing. Mostly they consist of taking out enemy techs. But once in a while, especially the missions involving that robot dude (the one that flies away after finishing his quest) involves resource gathering. Along the way you can supplement your income by harvesting raw resource and selling them. Put enough hours and you'll end up with a badass 16-tracked ATGM-equipped monster bristling with side mounted cannons. And then...you're done.

Parts wise, the blocks are divided into several categories. These have an emphasis on certain traits. For example, the yellow ones (the ones that look like construction equipment) value durability, whilst the red, white and blue ones value speed and lightness. The black ones...just look badass. Maybe firepower is their virtue seeing as they are end-game material. The blocks are unlocked as you gain xp for killing A.I. techs of a certain category. Construction techs yield xp for their category level and so forth. Another option is to just go out on a killing spree and just kill enemies and take their stuff. After a while, it gets same-y, with nothing to spice things up. You'll grow too strong and then wonder what to do next. I haven't dabbled in the other modes yet, but I'll assume with some gameplay tweaks the core gameplay is pretty much the same.

Game gets laggy once you killed a lot of techs though, as all the debris created from destroying them still stay and won't despawn. Maybe its just me being a bloodthirsty tech operator.

Interesting game, honestly, although I'm not too sure if it's still actively developed. Try to pick this up for a discounted price if you can, though.

What you get when buying this game is a whole bunch of Soviet Cold War era vehicles, rough terrain, logs....and mud. Most of the game centers around you and your driving skills, as well as how well you know and can handle your chosen vehicle. Driving in this game is pretty straightforward. WASD for basic movements, Q and E for differential and AWD/RWD/FWD modes, spacebar for parking brakes. But the challenge lies in actually tackling the terrain. A simple mud pit, let alone a river, can ruin your vehicle.

Driving the vehicles is satisfying, really. There's something gratifying about driving huge 8-wheeled trucks into mud pools. The physics system is pretty cool though. Seeing your truck displace water, make tracks in the mud and seeing the suspension at work tackling rocks and rough slopes is satisfying. Maybe its just a childhood fantasy made reality really. It's fun. One gripe I have about this game is the camera angles. It's pretty good for panning all around the vehicle to check your surroundings, but there's no first person cockpit view. The roof view doesn't count though. Just a small gripe, though.

Gameplay wise revolves mainly around delivering logs from one point to another point. Lots of ground to cover between you and your objective, and anything can go wrong. Main challenge here lies in the terrain, as said before, though there's nothing else to it. Multiplayer is something that frankly I haven't touched as there's no servers ATM.

If you like big trucks, mud and rough terrain, get this one. One thing to note is that the development of this game seems to be dead from what I heard, so get it on sale.

It's DOOM. What else is there to say other than the fact that this game is pretty badass. I've never played anything before DOOM 3 though, so I'm diving into this with a vague idea of what it is and honestly, I like it. Fast paced FPS combat along with a satisfying arsenal of weaponry coupled with unique monsters to take on? Pretty damn good, I say. One thing to note though is that the game is quite old. Like 1990-plus-maybe-late-90's-crap-I'm-lazy-to-search-that-up graphics and sounds.
And gameplay is very old school, so don't expect iron sights, sprinting or health regeneration. What it is, though, is a fun reminder to what got the FPS ball rolling. Hell, maybe DOOM invented it in the first place. Either way, get it if you like moving at 200 km/h whilst dodging demons and projectiles whilst also blasting them to bits. An added bonus are the mods. HDoom, anyone?

It's a racing game. With Garfield. And karts. Obviously, from the title, this isn't a super serious game geared towards adults, but it's pretty decent. Cartoony graphics with matching UI elements and wacky voice overs will probably put off the more serious gamers, along with it's rather clunky racing mechanics. One thing I noticed is that the game runs like poop, especially on the second map. The suburbia one. I'm not sure if this is an optimization issue, but to think about it this shouldn't be some Cryengine, Frostbite 3 monstrosity which takes 16 cores to process and a 4 Titan SLI configuration to render. It does support controllers somewhat, though, so there's that. To be honest I'm not sure if I should recommend it or not. Probably not.

P.S. I got this for a dollar and a half. Could've spent that money on other poopy games.

Before we begin, let's go back. Like, 9 years back. 2008 back. I was a secondary school boy. I was still playing stuff like Blackshot and Soldier Front back when they were still popular. I played Fallout 3 that year as well. So me being an FPS guy I somehow stumbled upon a demo of this game. Don't remember how though. It was using the Unity engine, and ran on a browser. I think Unity was still new back then, or at least unheard of by me. But a full 3D game with that kind of graphics on a BROWSER? Boy was my mind blown. It looked so good back then. Gameplay wise it was pretty solid too, with nice HUD and shooting elements. Granted it only had a shooting range with target challenges as far as I recall, but it was good enough for me. I was hyped. I wanted to see how the idea would expand. How they would incorporate the shark-like creatures that they showed off (somewhere...).

Fast forward to...2014. I finally bought the game. And I finally got around to getting myself on Steam. I played it a bit. And somehow...I was underwhelmed. It's like they sat around on their asses for 6 years and did ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Where's the alien sharks? Ok, cool there's A.I. robots and a bit of multiplayer. Nice and all. But...nothing else? Yeesh. I stashed it aside. Maybe it'll get better.

Fast forward again...to 2016. Booted it up. Been nearly two years since I tried it out. Maybe they added something cool. They did. I guess. A confusing scavenging mode spanning multiple levels and ridiculous A.I. bots, and more robot levels I guess? But where's that ALIEN SHARK? Did I miss a memo? Should I go off and sift through info online for a game I lost interest? No.

To be honest the game's development cycle seems...tragic. Being stuck in this limbo for so long means that all investor interest probably died (along with anyone's interest probably). So...What happens now? It's been 9 years. Far too long. And I haven't touched upon the core gameplay. Here goes...I guess...

- Generic FPS shoot-em-up gameplay. Move, shoot, aim down sights. Sprint. Crouch.

- Cool visor that you can lift up mechanic thingy. Removes HUD. Clearer view I guess.

- Weapon option mod thingy. Remove silencers! Turn on lasers! Blind others' with your light! That's all.

That's about it. To be honest I have no interest of writing this game. That...died out 9 years ago.

TL;DR game's stuck in a developmental limbo, and devs can't be ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to push out anything soon enough. There's no incentive for them to do so. Sadly. A good idea...gone.

Pretty decent World War II FPS. The market's pretty saturated with these types of games, IMHO, and this one's very similar in premise to, say, COD:WaW. You get a gun, you mow down Nazis, occasionally face against German tanks. That's it. The missions feel very same-y, with plant explosives at A, then go to point B and do the same, before heading to point C and repeating it again. But the unique part is that the missions are semi-open world. You can do them in any order. You can go do C, before backtracking to A and then completing B. What I like the most is the weapon progression system. Use enough of a weapon and you 'level up' your skill with that particular weapon and unlock attachments for them. For example, you get increased damage for the M1911 for example, and a scope for the STG-44 (which is a horrible attachment to be honest).

So, is it any good then? Well, if you enjoyed the simple run and gun type of gameplay of, say, the older Medal of Honours and the million WW2 shooters back then, then you will like this one. Pick it up while it's on sale though for some simple FPS fun.

I....am a sucker for spaceships. Large lumbering beasts floating weightlessly in space, sides bristling with state-of-the-art weaponry and defense systems. Whew. So naturally I was drawn to this game. Drawn to its galaxy spanning matches. Drawn to its badass space battles where titanic flagships lead countless lesser vessels in all-out battles. Drawn to its mid-complexity empire building mechanics where it's not too complex that no one can jump right in and not too simple where anyone will get bored of it. There's something utterly satisfactory about amassing a fleet and jumping straight into the enemy's main fleet and engaging them in a tense battle as they desperately try to stave off your advance and trickle more units into the fray, with you watching with glee as your fleet sends them packing and only one planet stands between you and their homeworld. But one other thing is the mods.

Holy shiz, the mods. I haven't tried anything much except one in particular. Sins of The Prophets. That one adds in UNSC and Covenant ships from the Halo franchise. Mix that with the amazing fleet battles and you're on your way to becoming the next Lord Hood.

So? If you like strategy games, and get hot over starships and phase jumps, then maybe this one is for you. Just be prepared for long battles. Sometimes these can drag on for hours as you bide your time and hassle enemy supply lines. But it'll be all worth it in the end.

It's truly a religious experience. Divine. A truly magnificient game...

...if you like those ♥♥♥♥♥ Mofunzone or Y8 puzzle games. Its premise is very simple. A puzzle platformer. You take away boxes and hope it either (A) Kills the enemy, or (B) Sets off a series of cluster♥♥♥♥s that hopefully kills the enemies. Pretty challenging later on.
