This version has the worst sprites in my opinion. I was thinking about rereading it but I am going to pass. I have read the visual novel and the manga before. I like the manga the most because the visual novel has a big problem with pacing and lenght, easily 1/3 of the text could be removed and the transitions take a bit too long and there are a lot of them. The full visual novel can take 120 hours easily.

Anyway this is a great Sound Novel and it has my favourite soundtrack ever. I have been listening to it for over 10 years and it will probably still be my favourite in 10 years. There are a lot of very talented compossers that somehow managed to make something unique and cohesive. I personally think there are many other vns with exceptional music, but Umineko is on another level for both quality and quantity.
Even if you are not interested in reading this I think you should give the ost a chance.

I really want to be able to dodge in this game, particularly for bosses.
For me the worst thing in the game is being forced to spend a fair amount of bullets when enemies reappear in sections you have cleared previously, which happens all the time.

The rest of the game is ok.

This has the same problems as the original game, which if anything make the game a lot harder.
Some things have been nerfed but you are still heavily encouraged to exploit op things, unless you want to die all the time.
Actually I think they went out of their way to make it harder at the start of the game and in general there is a bit more of artificial difficulty, like having a sniper while you fight something else in many parts of many quests.
What's new in the game doesn't justify buying it for me when put against the difficulty, but I really liked: some areas like the underwater castle, soul cores and the added customization, the new skill trees.

Nice bullet hell game with roguelike elements, but this time you bring the bullet hell instead.
I wasn't expecting this amount of content for such a cheap game.
Absolutely worth the price.

Nice strategy game with roguelike elements.
I like FTL a lot more because there are a lot more progression options there.
On the other hand Into the Breach is easier to understand and faster to play.
Absolutely worth the price.

One of the games I plated a lot in my childhood.
This edition is quite nice and simple, just what you need to jump back into it even if you have forgotten much about it.

This is for the most part a good DLC, but for me its quality is worse than the base game, by a lot.
The DLC contians a fair amount of horror like sections, where you have to avoid patrols while you can barely see.
The rest of the DLC was up to the base game in quality, with some very clever new puzzle elements.
But I have to admit I was slightly dissappointed by the ending and particularly the way you have to *** in order to be able to unlock the last seal.

An open world filled with weird space stuff, simple puzzles and lore snippets.
The exploration in this game is fantastic. It's probably my favorite game in that regard.

I played this over the course of several months and without looking up anything, coming back every now and then when I had an idea or just felt like exploring somewhere else. I strongly believe this is the best way to experience the game.

For me the biggest issue is that's missing a way to speed up the passage of time, in order to explore those things that become available at certain intervals in the time loop.

This reminded me of Half Life 1, Journey and Untitled goose game (it even has the same box trick to get into a shop). You spend most of the time walking and interacting with the environment via your robot friend, but once in a while you feel tempted to do cat stuff like throwing things off shelves or scratching walls. You are a good cat, nothing like the one in the first Alien movie, but you are still a cat.

The game is mostly good, but the price is way too high for something this short. I would recommend getting this on sale.

Only if it's on sale! This is a 90 minute game and relatively very expensive because of that, even on sale.

This is one of the most beautiful games I have ever played. It's very simple and easy to understand.
