I ran a large Valheim community from February-June of this year. We ran large servers and finished the game very quickly many times. We modded the game to make it harder. Found out the modding community cares more about the development of the game than the company does very early on. The new update is already available through mods. We already have better extra build able content from those than what we have seen in the screen grabs from the company. It's very sad when the game requires mods to be more fun. Our server ran a mod pack of 40 mods. Quality of life and game changing mods that made the game worth spending 2-5 hours a day on. I haven't felt that way about the vanilla game since hour 25.

To the honest review for new players. You will enjoy the first play through a lot. Then you'll look at the mods and realize how much content is truely missing from this game still.
