Overall a fantastic fishing simulator that has alot of the mechanics of real life fishing and the experience. game is only half built so hopefully the niggling points i will list here improve during its development.

the Pros:

As close as a fishing experience as your gonna get unless you get a rod and go outside yourself.
Competitive aspect as well as a solo game experience.

not pay to win but you can pay to be comfortable.

the negatives:

Game isnt fully complete so current end game is quick to hit

Hook size is meaningless 50g fish caught on the largest sized hooks in the game.

Groundbait seems trivial can catch same amount of fish with or without using it.

you level quicker then you can grind the silver to buy the gear needed to move to the next areas.

decent items for low level players are almost always out of stock meaning you have to move to a higher area to buy them or pay with premium gold.

main way to fish in the game is feeder, spin fishing is ok, but hardly anybody uses float.

for those that want to pay real money as have limited time to fish. items are crazy expensive for a game thats not fully complete. e.g Everest Reel = $160

nothing in place to stop high level players using second accounts to farm low level competitions for items. not allowing new players to enjoy that experience.

Note for people who are interested in streaming.

the game has sponsored streamers who get free items to give away making it harder for non sponsored streamers to build a viewer base. there are murmors that these are being reduced in number which can only be a good thing, but it still monopolizes the viewer base. who doesnt want to be get free stuff for entering a keyword right? try to avoid streaming the same hours most of them are on.


as i said the game is still in development and they are constantly changing rules for competitions and prizes so hopefully they will get the right balance, i still think the game is the best simulator there is, and if your looking for a fishing one you wont find a better one. but im also a realist and will give a proper review no matter how much i want the community to flourish now the game is on steam.

the best battle royale game ive come across , realistic in all ways but does need optomising and with their timelines showing a 6 month early access and optomisation period this game is gonna go from strength to strength. its alot slower paced, realistic and tactical then h1z1. throughly recommend , if you have an older pc id recommend waiting till full release after the optimisations have been completed

was really enjoying this game, was slightly confused by all the negative pay to play comments and was enjoying a decent fishing simulator right up until it hit me, fine after fine after fine putting me around $5000 in the red and making it almost impossible to progress without paying real cash or spending hours and hours grinding small fish at home lake. ive played pay to play games but this one pretty much took the biscuit for how it forces you down that route, id avoid at all costs and definitely dont recommend , hopefully someone comes out with a decent fishing sim not pay to play

toxic community. toxic company. when you get match making games with teams of trolls who team kill , throw bomb into bomb sites , and then vote kick and the company then punishes you with bans for votekicking them or being votekicked with bans of up to 24 hours , its a joke
