If you're on the fence about picking up this game I highly suggest it, now is the time for new players to join as the devs have released an update that increases survivability of new players. However, don't let this mislead you, you will still die a lot. So ignore your k/d for a while, it will only discourage you, you'll have a better time without it. The way you do better is you find an outfit with people you enjoy playing with that will help you understand the game. If you are still struggling there are tons of new player guides out there on youtube to help you. The learning curve is steep, but it makes doing well feel great.

P.S. Don't make the mistake I did and assume that the game auto sets your resolution. You'll miss out on a beautiful game.

I bought the game for $1.49 in the 2014 steam christmas sale. For that price I believe it is an amazing game, the mix between rts and tower defense is incredible, but before you buy it I suggest you play the free demo that is available on kongregate to see if you want it yourself.
