The most disturbing DLC I've ever played, and I loved it. I dont remember the last time I felt this uncomfortable in a game before.

The best horror game I have ever played. The only negative thing I can say is that I feel as if there's too many moments where you think you will die/get hurt but get saved at the very last second.

I tried to go back and finish this in preperation for the sequel, however, it just once again bores me after the intro and some quests after that.

It does one of those annoying open world video game things where you can get bombarded with side-quests that you can grab from every city and none of them have any sort of level restrictions or warnings. They're just boring " hey blud grab this pot for me from across the world " quests.

The most fun for me is proper one on one combat, and that I can say this game did great. However, there's so much jank surrounding that. I can't bring myself to finish this game due to these problems.

Hopefully they fix these issues in the second game!

I really tried my best to play and finish this game several times. However, in my opinion, the combat system is too outdated for me to be able to make it through the game, everything else is really good, which is a shame.

Very funny and cool game to play against a friend.

Honestly do not see why a 2v2 or free for all gamemode couldn't exist.

As a non-Warhammer 40k fan I can't recommend this.


Due to two reasons:


1st. I really am not a big fan of upgrades and loot that give you such small upgrades or abilities that do such minischule things that I can't even notice that they even happen. Probably because I'm too dumb but in these kind of games, I just wanna see numbers go up and get cool loot.

2nd. I stopped playing the moment when I realized that I actually had no idea why I was doing anything or where the hell I even was. After plowing through a bunch of combat sections that felt like they took way too long.. I just lost interest.

The fact that the "Hard" difficulty in turn based games STILL just mean " hey you have to grind for 694604 hours to beat these bosses :-) ) is really sad because otherwise this game is decent. It asks WAY too much of your time.


And with this in mind, yeah why not just grind more then?

Sadly the last time you're able to save in this game before the final boss, well, you can't grind anymore. I don't really know why you can even save here, you can just adjust your party and change some equipment around.

If you don't have multiple saves (like i dont' have), you're locked into this path you're going. You can't go back and grind anymore. You're screwed.

This happens multiple times in the game as well, and it is one of the most frustrating things ever.

And let's say you are correct level for the boss and the best gear, oh wait, you don't have enough mana potions for the boss. Well too bad for you, you can't beat him because you will run out of mana in the first phase of the final boss fight and then when it's 50% of the fight left you can't do anything at all.

Some extremely questionable design choices made in this game made this experience way more frustrating then it had to be.



However, the writing, characters, story and everything else makes that bearable to sit through. It's a great game but at some points you will have more frustration then fun with the game.

I played one run and felt like that was enough. The core gameplay of these vampire survivor games is what brings them down for me. I personally don't enjoy walking around and having the character having all the fun instead of me.

I guess I didn't get into that phase with a lot of these roguelites where you are just desperate to see what's more and want to see numbers go up.

It's decent and has a interesting art-style, however, it doesn't do anything new enough to keep me engaged.
