Played for a long time without a review, but after the "Living Settlement" update I just had to. the game is fun and was the only open-world survival to actually hook me, other like Rust just felt tedious. The constant content being add makes every base build feel unique and now they have scrapped the battle pass system for a rotating store also doesn't make you feel rushed to do thing you don't want to get nice cosmetics. You can just relax in solo play and make nice, fun builds.

Overall, I've played a lot of games worse but very few better. as far as open-wolrd base building goes.

Gaijin has gotten overboard with implementation of paywalls that make the game exceptionally grindy. It takes months to get out of tier 4 now. They also actively gaslight the player base saying we just don't understand that this is a good thing...
That we can pay to skip...

I bought this game with the first battle pass, which had almost all it's content removed and if I want to do anything kind of story I have to pay for new content, which is fine, if they didn't remove the stuff I actually paid for...

So with a over 100 hours in the game I will say it has an awesome story with great pacing and even the side quests are fleshed out, the game is getting better with each update so I would definitely recommend people pick up the game, just not right now.

You're getting what you pay for, it's a good game at it's price and will give you more hours of entertainment than the 2-3 movie tickets you spent to buy it. Most of the negative reviews come from people that can't read as it clearly states "Requires 3rd-Party Account: Xbox Live (free in-game signup) " on the store page. The multiplayer is a bit of a chore to get going with all the odd ways the game handles friends lists but it's more of a speed bump than an obstacle once you get it figured out and it is a fun game to play multiplayer so hopefully they make that more streamlined or use better Steam friends integration. Overall I'd say a 7/10 in it's current state, as much as I like the game so far, I just can't rate it as a great game with how complicated getting my first multiplayer game going ended up being and for a "drop in" multiplayer that's not really what you want.

A pretty fun game, I picked it up on sale and will say it was worth it, not sure I'd have gotten it at full price. It's pretty much the same as other 4 players co-op games so you can expect the same things you either love or hate about the genre but in the Warhammer universe. So if you got bored with Left 4 Dead and the like this game is not for you.

You can't use your original Wargaming account, so you have to start from scratch if you use Steam as a client of this game.

A great blend of RPG and Strategy, the trun based system is done as well as the legends of old like UFO: Enemy Unkown. The RPG elementes add a brilliant level of customization to your squad which is done even more credit by the way the weapons stats and effects work, meaning you can futher specialize soldiers in an already specialzed class. The Story was well paced and I found myself spending more than one night playing through a mission instead of going to sleep.

There are a few things that get annoying for example the AI is very predictable to the point you can kill them in their own turn by a few well placed shocktroops. The save system isn't terrible if you remember to do it often, however multi-phased missions can get tiresome if you fail it on the last section only to redo everything to that point.

Overall it's a good game at a good price.

Teach evolution in schools, get assasinated by the church. Give universal health care, get assasinated by the captilists. Decrease military spending, get assasinated by the patriots. If you want to learn how not to run a country, play this game.

10/10
