Review Showcase
Game which could be indie arcade of the year, but...

Sequel of great superfast indie brawler. What was OFDP?
You controled your stickman fighter just by two mouse buttons or L,R arrows. Left one attacks to left, right one attack to right, horde of enemies running to you from both sides. Yes it was so simple, but incredibly funny. Game had just few basic game modes, all great, classic fight agains horde, boss battles, laser sword battle, neverending battle mode and its hilarious variant with annoying cat (sounds weird, but it was great) and few others.

Sequel is very similar to OFDP 1 on first look. Small difference is in changed behaviour of enemies. Now they are running very close to you before attack, in last centimeters they noticably slow down and give you chance to react. Impact on gameplay and flow of fight is huge. Its not such hardcore have thanks to this, on the other hand, they are running in really enormous numbers now.

Game was upgraded in many ways. It finaly runs in high resolution. You can learn much more special skills than before and use many more weapons like chainsaw, scythe, flail or deadly metal ball which turn into deadly weapon if you kick that into enemy's faces. Whats more important there are many new game modes. like Gauntlet where you have to finish series of levels, but your heath isnt recovered after fights, levels where you have to stay in relatively small zone - get out and you are instantly death, chainsaw run levels and other fun modes.

Overal gameplay is faster and more intensive than before. Theres no story at all, just pure funny game with supereasy controls which can be played over and over. Only cons is absence of awesome classic boss fights from first game. I really missed them.

So why i dont recommend this?
Cause devs are bunch of lazy people caring just about console versions. Game had support and was patched for very short time, only few months. Then devs started to work on console versions and completely ignored PC players. There should be no problem with this if they didnt forgot one, but serious bug which can be triggered
on some configuration.

In certian levels of main campaign in certain time enemies simply stop coming and level cant be finished. Some of those broken levels are necesery for your campaign progress so in certain point you cant continue and finish game. Restarting levels or even reset of whole progress doesnt solve anything. Once its bugged on your machine its bugged forever and you can play only survivals and gauntlet mode.

Whats worse, its reported by players over three years, but Silver Dollar Games just dont communicate if you write to them.
OFD2 can be awesome game for lucky ones, but if you trigger this bug you are screwed!

Definitely thumbdown!

My advice, take first One Finger Death Punch, sequel is safely playable only in console versions!
