I really enjoyed this game for a while. I played mostly on my own, because by the time I tried to play multiplayer, they had added enough features that the game performance suffered substantially. I figured I'd wait a few months to a year to let the devs optimize this awesome game, because it was becoming nigh-unplayable.

I am incredibly disappointed in the release of paid DLC. As many before me have stated, this game has not had a full release yet. It is an incomplete game in an alpha stage. All content being released until its official launch should be free, and they should be working to perfect the game they sold us, as opposed to selling additional content.

With business practices like this, I'm not sure I could ever recommend Ark to anyone.
