Kinda wish we got mounts. I hate walking all over the place. Before they fixed the "great axe" bug it was at least bearable. Fast travels work but for some locations, you still have to spend 5 minutes traveling for your character to get to the area of interest.

It's fun if you have friends to play with, kinda sucks if you play solo (unless that's your thing). If I could rate this game mediocre I would but it's not offensive to play so maybe a thumbs up for now.

I quit this game a long time ago but I need to write this as an advice for others who may be looking to buy this game. Listen to the other reviewers. Don't let the pretty surface of this game fool you for what it really is. The scenery is gorgeous as all hell and the combat mechanics are engaging as ♥♥♥♥. But this is a pay to win. In a game where PvP is such a main focus, so much that it is forced upon in open world (after a certain level), you now have people out right buying their gear with real money. No more is progression a matter of RNG (which was a huge issue itself), but it is now who has the deeper wallet. People who chose to spend their money on progression will stomp on those who actively play the game and work for their gear.

In this game, grinding and winning node/siege wars, are the surest ways to make silver. People fight for nodes and grind spots and the winner is determined by the one with the highest gear score. You can see where I'm going with this.

This game had so much potential and I genuinely had a lot of fun playing it when I first started, well before Kakao and Pearl Abyss decided to curb stomp their game. But to see where the game is heading, with the PvP balancing all ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and the enhancement system being cancerous as all hell, and now ESPECIALLY the fact that the game is straight up pay to win, you're better off playing Guild Wars 2, ESO, WoW, or any other game if you're looking for an mmo to play.

Do yourself a favor and save your money and go buy something else. And for those of you still holding on, you can quit this game. I know you can do it. I feel so much more happier and relieved to not be apart of a train wreck anymore.

EDIT (2020): Upon rejoining the game, it seems like a lot of things have been reworked the past 2 years. P2W doesn't seem as prevalent as before as there a many catch up mechanics and events to help new and returning players reach up to speed with current and ongoing vets.

Swimming is still awful unless you have a fish costume, boats are still very buggy, and pearl items still cost an arm and a leg.

The new class, Guardian, seems to be slow and tanky but still hits like a truck.

Overall, I think the game definitely picked itself back up, even if it's marginally, from the horrible pay to win and whaling mechanics of the past. Don't get me wrong, it's still a Korean MMO, there is still a LOT of mindless grinding to be done if you want to progress.

If you want to play an MMO, there's no other like it, the combat is still unique and the graphics are still pretty. Just know, you're either in this for PVP, life skilling, or both. Dungeons mechanics found in classic MMOs still don't exist and I highly doubt they'll ever be a thing in this game.

I absolutely love this game.

It's been a while since I've actually enjoyed a decent platformer with a great story and this game personally takes the cake for being an excellent adventure game. The story itself is great and the characters are adorable and loveable. There is so much to interact with and explore. The artwork of the game itself is colorful and attractive.

The game mechanics and difficulty are top notch. The game allows the players to cater the level of difficulty towards their preference. This goes beyond the standard "easy", "normal", and "hard" difficulties. If things get too hard, the game offers aid which helps the player may accept or decline. This helps the player not feel frustrated or stuck (especially on boss levels).
Being a bullet hell game, true skill comes from mastering the art of movements. Since Rabi-Ribi also has platformer mechanics, not only do you have to deal with gravity and an onslaught of projectiles, you also have to deal with the enemy you're fighting and successfully chain attacks to defeat them. This definitely ups the learning curve but is super rewarding when mastered.
This game definitely provides a challenge when set right.

The soundtrack of the game is very well done and I highly recommend getting the UPRPRC edition which comes with the game OST in FLAC. With the UPRPRC, you can also enjoy the digital artbook.
Overall, this game holds a special place in my heart and I highly recommend this game.
