The best way to describe Factorio is with a metaphor...
I've played Dyson Sphere Program and other "expand the factory" games. Not bad games, but they have shortcomings - these are ibuprofen: nice, but not that exciting of a drug.
But oh boy...
I now have the pure stuff. Factorio is Walter White's Pure 110% purity crack.
Learning/experiencing the care (and effective application of experience) the developers have is fantastic. Everything runs PERFECT. Sharing designs is PERFECT. Mod integration is PERFECT. Everything is GORGEOUS.
Fair and honest price - consistently.

If you are reading this debating whether to buy Factorio or not: The fact that you are looking at "expand the factory" games at all is enough for me to tell you that you have GOTTA get building engineer!

Holy moly it's been 13 years, and I wish it was sooner. I cannot say enough, if you have or are getting vr, buy it now. It's HLVR. Definitive VR game.

Hot damn! I remember being a young child with my iPod nano and a sonic game on it.. It wasn't the best but i remeber having so much fun! This brings that all back and more!

This game is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing! It feels so right, like it was made by the original team! Yet, it doesn't feel so similar that it would be a clone. It is perfectly balanced between new ideas, feelings, and art/design directions and the old ideas, feelings, and art/design directions.

It started out well... It was going to be good.. But locking away gameplay behind a DLC paywall is a really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing to do.

As for the game/gameplay?
Well, it's not that great. I'd say its just below 'fine'

10/10 Probably buying a for a friend.
