Dumped 6 hours into this on the first day. thumbs up.

developer engagement is constant, and feedback/suggestions always start a conversation in their discord. the game, as is, is perfect for killing time on a work conference call. i'm digging the art style, the direction of the world and plot, and the battles are fun. i'm not great at reviews. thumbsup!

haven't even been able to enter the game yet. early access assumes accessing the game i think.

edit: i was able to get into the game about 12 hours after release, but because i stayed in the start screen over 2 hours trying to get logged in, i was unable to refund it when i finally got in, played it, and didn't enjoy it.

i liked/like it

Fantastic. Feels a lot like Dragon Age: Inquisition, but the combat is more controlled and fluid. if 60fps is too much and you'd rather have 30fps, downsample with your nvidia card and make the game look ultra lovely. The pawn dialog is sometimes dorky, but nothing cringe-worthy. The nights are fantastically done, and made even better with an ENB. Nothing like traipsing a trail at night, and the camera starts to shake and a rumbling approaches, and a giant cyclops bursts from the trees and darkness and scoops up one of your pawns. I'll be playing this one for a while yet.

spell check is free. it's difficult to get immersed in any game that uses "tho" instead of "though" in the NPC dialog. otherwise, nothing terrific has distinguished itself for this game as yet.

If you have the money to rent a gun or a shirt then you have the money to buy a decent game instead.
