No need to fret. I didn't have very high resistance to poison and was even getting poisoned through the wall. I wouldn't stood a chance fighting in the fog. Dark Fog can be really useful if you have a strong control of where it is set. Try unlocking and casting it at your foot.

Nice trick, glad I was recording the beating you gave me. Sorry for the BM Dark Fog, I just wanted to explore muh new content :(
