Good start, but the end doesn't respect the player's time. I don't want to spend 20 minutes preparing and sailing to a remote area only to be mobbed immediately. They had a crow show up to warn you with what I assume what was to come, but I couldn't even stop to read the message because I was too busy being shot at by the new sea serpent enemy. Because of RNG, I have to deal with an extra strong starred enemy so just getting established isn't possible.

Every other biome at least gave you the chance to build something in a familiar biome and push into it at your own pace, but for some reason they decided they would rather you build and rebuild a ship continuously and spend hours of your time just to even get a chance to experience ashlands.

An excellent game from start to finish. Gameplay is solid and style is very reminiscent of SNES classics. While most of the story is okay, the setting is fantastic and reminded me of playing some of the older 2D MMOs from the early 2000s. Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed.

The game isn't very deep, but its a fun casual deckbuilder with a fresh format and fun synergies. My favourite build is the farm to fork pipeline.

The year is 1991. Your uncle just came back from his overseas trip and bought you a Japanese version of the Legend of Zelda for your eighth birthday. Despite the fact that none of the writing is in English, you happily sit in front of your SNES and slowly figure out the game through careful exploration and experimentation.

You will never be this happy ever again.

Tunic manages to capture the essence of a simpler time where childhood wonder reigns supreme. Anyone that has fond memories of an older generation of games should get this.

A surprisingly deep colony sim game hiding behind cutesy graphics. I built a physics based geothermal power plant to power multiple separate power grids to support agricultural and industrial sectors of my colony. This game has layers.

I keep looking for a game that recreates the experience of the first time I played this one. Still looking.

A fun light game where I found myself really enjoying tormenting a bunch of people that just want to go about their lives. Wait for a sale.

The new gold standard for roguelikes.

If you had to pick one roguelike to play this decade, pick this one.

Slower paced, with less emphasis on survival and crafting, and more emphasis on exploration, although to be perfectly honest there isn't much mechanical rewards for exploration past a certain point.

Don't get this game if you're expecting something like factorio.
Get this game if you like intuitive UI and round edges.
