It's a fantastic game for its price. It rewards exploration and curiosity (much like Vampire Survivors, it has a lot of cool combinations and a lot of references to Windows 98.

It's a fun experience, don't miss out on it!

Another great game in the series!

It's a little expensive for the 2-3 hour time that you will spend with it, but it's worth it. It has charming characters, nice sense of humor, great detective elements and a fun story with turns and twists.

It also tells a story of a recovering addict, battling with his addiction... to bread.

Anyway, it's worth it, great for any age, and very well crafted. Fully-voiced too!

A great game, very unique gameplay, unsettling demons and engaging story.

It's set in Poland (or at least territory of modern Poland) so it's a great plus, loved the historical context.

It came out yesterday. I had to pick it up, it's a remake of my favorite game of all times.

It's an interesting iteration on the original game. There are some bugs, there are some issues. Bethesda said they're not going to support modding in this version, which really sucks. I hope they reconsider, but hopefully we'll have another great game soon (SkyBlivion) that will allow us to mod it semi-freely. Playing it feels almost as enchanting as playing the original 19 years ago. I'm loving it so far!

You're not playing a 1 to 1 remaster, however. A lot of attribute relations, damage calculations, animations, health scaling and other things have changed:
- Agility now governs damage for Daggers and Short Blades, which is really cool - now you're not forced to go for Strength if you want to deal damage in melee as an archer.
- The level-up system has been completely overhauled and is far less annoying now. No more min-maxing over it.
- Health scales retroactively, so you're not forced to level up Endurance every single level.

All of these changes are ground breaking for the original game, they make the game a better experience objectively.

Other aspects remain remarkably faithful. You have all of the guilds and the arena, all of the original systems and all of the DLC (as far as I understand - the house DLCs too). This is a great version to play. Some users reported performance hiccups, and this one certainly feels like buying Oblivion back in the day: It feels like Oblivion did back in the day — pushing your hardware to the limit. Hopefully these issues will be ironed out soon.

Beyond performance, this version is also extremely accessible - this is a very low-effort entry to the great game (no messing around with mods, no getting the game's engine to work, no installing patches and unofficial work-arounds. If your first game was TES V: Skyrim, take a look at the game that was its predecessor. It's kind of like playing Oblivion 1.5 (with some animations and feel inspired by Skyrim).

This game saved the company from ruin and brought us a bunch more great games.

I beat the game 3 times, and I would recommend it overall.

My favorite thing about this game is just the amount of polish: no bugs, no crashes - the game is streamlined to the extreme and is well-polished. It looks great for an indie game, and the way they present the story is very enticing. It uses a black-and-white comic reel that is intermittent with the missions that you play. The game presentation is really exciting.

The game has three issues: it's way too short, the hardest difficulty is very stupid, and in between missions, some of the items you have struggled to acquire magically disappear to simulate the passage of time between levels. This is a horrendous design choice because it becomes a band-aid solution to the problem of the game's brevity.

We don't have a lot of levels, but hey, let's make items disappear randomly so that the players have to constantly scavenge, LUL. The worst example of this was when my group lost 6(!) Axes and a Chainsaw in one of the levels. What the actual hell?!

If you choose to play the game on Medium or Easy difficulty, you're going to have a great time, but keep in mind, realistically, you will have to beat it three times if you want to get all of the achievements and actually enjoy the game in the process:

First time: Medium difficulty; explore the game to the fullest.
Second time: Easy run without unlocking any of the character perks (this is fairly tough, but not impossible)
Third time: Hard run while using everything you know about the game, making everything you find count.

Overall, it's a good short game for one or two evenings, but it's moderately annoying if you choose to unlock all of the achievements.

I still recommend it, though, as I am a sucker for Zombie and Tactics games. Besides, it's this company's first game, and as far as the first games go, this one is fantastic. I can't wait to see more stuff from these guys.

It's a wonderful game with a lot of depth, combinations and viable strategies.

It also has an endless mode and is regularly updated.

I really enjoy the game. It's massive, even without taking into account procedural generation on planets, you have a ton of content in form of quests, ship building, outpost building, cool guns and other stuff.

There are some problems that hinder enjoyment, like lack of vehicles for exploration, but they will be added soon. And of course the mods are coming soon, which is going to be wild.

Simply terrible. It feels like playing Corsairs III / Age of Pirates: Caribbean Tales again. It's a game from 2006.

Sure they've made a lot of changes (I guess) and they made it graphically better (I guess), but it's an old engine and it just doesn't hold the appeal it used to. Give it a pass.

Or hey, give it a shot and prepare wet tissue. Because you are likely to vomit all over your screen.

A very cool DLC. I liked the story and the atmosphere.

As others have mentioned, the enemy in this one is no real threat, but come on, as if the enemies in the original were threatening? Pretty sure my mom can 100% the game with some practice.

The content they've added helps a bunch but does not feel overpowering.

However, they have further destroyed the economy. Having $3,000+ after farming the achievements for the Pale Reach damages the economy even further.

All in all, I recommend it for the story and vibe, balance is a bit off and difficulty is fairly low.
