This is a copy-paste of Arma 3, including all of the bugs and glitches.

I mostly play this game to drool at how optimized it is.

Apart from that this is the best game I've ever played. The game never stops challenging me and asking for creative solutions. With the space age DLC, this all improved tenfold.

How to play it is all up to yourself. I can only highly recommend to try the free demo and find out whether this game scratches an itch.
I remember years ago, I was appalled by the graphics style from the first video I saw about it, but after playing the demo I was completely hooked. As another side note, this game motivated me to learn about electricity which may or may not have helped me pass my high school physics classes :)

Game is full of small bugs that ruin the experience. UI is very whack, I got stuck under the VAB by scrolling a bit.
Stick to KSP 1 for now.

I had a blast playing this. It is a brilliant parody of The Witness, having played that made this even more funny. For me, the puzzles were challanging and I got almost stuck a few times. Enjoyed the ending a lot as well.

I am completely in love with the "simplicity" of the game. Everything seems intuitive and is very well explained in the tutorial. The interface is amazing. Gravity, Aerodynamics, orbital mechanics, delta V are a complex bunch to understand but with the 'simple' way the game conveys all this matter, it all becomes very fun, clear and coherent.

I can't express how grateful I am for the thoughts the developers must have put in to develop such a clear environment, a place to learn things at rocket speed!

Some extra notes:
The music, to me, is very relaxing and calming. Quite helpful when you're designing your machines. The building of a rocket is completely customisable. Parts can be scaled, which grants the player unlimited possibilities.

Best laugh I've had in a while and it's so thrilling to experience some REAL teamwork with random people. 10/10 everyone come help me push this train off the map

There's been some time since the release of No Man's Sky, and nothing really changed. The only way to make the game 'fun' beyond the first two, three hours of playing would be to add mods, unless you really love flying/walking around all by yourself, sometimes having an odd encounter with froglike Aliens. I've forced myself to play this game for a while, just to make sure I was really playing a loop.

The attention and speculations created around this game before it was released was really exaggerated. If the game was sold for a tenth of the price, It would be a recommendable game, but it would still not promise hours and hours of unstoppable fun. The game lacks multiplayer, sound effects, interactions, variation (yes even when all billiongazillion planets are generated randomly, there is still a lot of structures and items that can be recognized at 100 meters distance on any planet because it's all the same. )
