nah but for real though, it's actually a very good competitive experience with a lot to learn and a high skill ceiling. Matches are extremely investing and anyone with a competitive spirit and drive will fall in love with it. The only downside of this game is that the casual modes and their formats aren't nearly as fun as comp mode, and comp mode has people who care about their rank to varying degrees of importance. After all, competitive mode is meant to be taken seriously; there's nothing wrong with anyone who genuinely wants to try their best to win. But then it can clash with people who have different priorities that again, are just as valid and understandable to have. Personally, I like to play this game with friends because then I can switch between the competitive mindset and just being an idiot with people I know without worrying about my rank or people getting mad at me.

An aesthetically pleasing, but really brutal survival game. Quirky, fun, worth buying.

One of THE BEST party games out there! Great mechanics and minigames and the pace at which matches move at is mind boggling. It's basically Wario Ware multiplayer deathmatch.

This game is wonderful. It has a lighthearted asthetic and while the playtime isn't that long, the cost is perfectly reasonable and I know I had fun with it. The soundtrack is awesome too.

Most of the negative reviews for this game are people whining about how difficult it is. The game doesn't care how much you whine. It's still going to stomp you underneath its steel-plated army boots until you shut up. And that's one of the enjoyable things about it. The first time you play this game, you're going to lose. I'll say that up front. But because of it, you'll learn what needs to be done the next time you play. Critical decisions must be made, resources and troops must be managed, and at the end of a play session you'll have a migrane and be on the verge of a stress-induced breakdown. But that's why it's fun. The game pushes you to act fast, but precisely and punishes you heavily for over or understepping. This game has the perfect learning curve. Play. Mess up. Lose. Learn. Repeat. Anyone who is a fan of tactical games should pick this one up.
