FromSoftware has done it again. They made a masterpiece.

This game is the culmination of everything that the developers have learned about making a game over their extensive history. This game includes mechanics and features taken from all of their past titles and mashes them together, along with new options befitting of an open world title. They've done an excellent job weaving the classic dark souls experience onto a new foundation in a way that makes the game feel natural to play.

To top it all off, while FromSoftware doesn't have much experience with the open world genre, they've managed to make a game that surpasses almost all of the industry in quality. This game doesn't have the usual flaws that plague so many other titles. There are no empty stretches of land with nothing in them that take minutes to cross. Secrets and items wait around every corner of the map, with no exceptions. It feels FUN to explore. It feels REWARDING to explore. I feel MOTIVATED to explore.

This is a game that will change the industry, and one we will talk about for decades on end.

This game is an amazing roguelike. It's got an amazing soundtrack, a simplistic but colorful artstyle, and deserves your money. I've been playing since the game was in its early stages, and it's only gotten better over time.

If you get bored, you can also fool around with mods, and even run them with friends!

i tried so hard to finish this game. 3 separate incomplete playthroughs started over the course of a few years. I got bored at around the same point each time and never finished it

With one of the best tutorials in recent memory, a versatile training mode, and fantastic netcode, the mental roadblocks that often prevent newer players from really diving into the meat of these games have been blasted wide open.

Accessible, but complex mechanics and systems keep the game flowing like no other. By design, the game aims to reward both players for their performance rather than punishing one or the other. Even when losing, you can still feel accomplished.

The best ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ soundtrack you've ever heard, amazing animation, and stunning visuals make this game a must buy for both fighting game fanatics and complete newcomers
