Increasing prices by 30% just before the summer sale and in the middle of an economic crisis just so they won't lose money from the sale - sneering monopolists from Paradox doing their best to discourage the customers again.

Prey is the closest thing to System Shock until SS3 comes out, much better at replicating Looking Glass' formula than BioShock games. The level design is top notch, Talos I, along with exterior, is fully explorable, and the practicality of each area makes it feel like an actual place, although navigating the exterior with objective markers disabled can be hard sometimes. However, despite the lackluster combat, a bit low enemy variety and rushed endgame, it's a fantastic immersive sim.

A great sequel to the original Fallout. It's bigger and better, especially with Restoration Project mod that fixes bugs and restores cut content. Probably the best cRPG ever made and a must play for fans of the genre.

Thief III is a worthy successor to The Dark Project and The Metal Age. It has as good gameplay, level design and story as the previous games in the franchise, despite its flaws related to technology, small maps, long loading times and being much easier in comparison with T1 and T2. But what in my opinion makes Deadly Shadows a must buy is that it contains arguably the best mission in the series, Shalebridge Cradle, which makes the game worth playing just for this mission alone.

A perfect sequel with as strong narrative and gameplay as in the first Thief.

An absolute classic among RPGs. The plot is engaging, combat satisfying and the same can be said about exploration. Fallout 3 and 4 are disgrace to the series.

This expansion is good, though it has one small flaw that prevents it from being awesome. The level design keeps the quality of the main game and it has a couple of new weapons and enemies. The difficult is higher than in regular Quake II, which is a good thing because the expansion should serve as a challenge for an experience player. Some of the new guns, like Plasma Beam and ETF are really fun to use, though things like Tesla Mines and Prox Launcher I found to be useless. The biggest issue of the game is a new enemy type - the ♥♥♥♥♥♥' turrets - they have both high accuracy and durability, they often appear in the cheapest possible places and unneceassarly slow down the pacing, making them the most annoying enemies in the entire series.

It's not perfect, but if you're an FPS fan, then you should definitely play Half-Life 2 at least once.
