way better than OW

fun game, main issue are the respawns which are probably not checked for proximity, ending up (especially in the smaller maps) on people spawning behind or beside you.

Honestly this is the only MMO that holds up in 2019, both graphically and in its experience. only downsides of this game are the excessive grinding and the clunkyness of some movements with vehicles, anything else is stunning and well done and i would recommend it to everyone.

It's way easier to get gear now but the core issues remain the same.
on top of that, there are a LOT of things that are locked behind real money purchases which aren't mandatory, but for sure boost your progression a lot, like:
Tent, fairy (with rerolls for good perks), Value Pack, Kamasylve Blessing and pets.
Of course you can obtain some of these items with time, but we are talking about years.

Another issue that came to me as i've been playing this game for longer is the pvp.
Pretty much everyone will tell you BDO has the BEST combat system you've ever seen in any game in the MMO genre and i still stand by it, it is truly something that has no replacement, but this comes with its downsides; mainly the developers having absolutely no clue about how to balance the classes. i've seen it happen over and over at every new class release since Guardian: class comes out, it's broken for a few months, gets nerfed to the ground, repeat.
on top of that add to it that sometimes they have the great idea to do "PvP Balance Patches" that more often than not create other discrepancies between classes.
If you don't care about high end pvp then this shouldnt be an issue for you, but for someone who cares like me it's crazy that you HAVE to play certain classes to be relevant in content like Guild League or Arena Of Solare.

The devs recently announced another balance patch is on its way but personally i lost hope in their ability to fix the game considering their past.

Another issue is that there's no build variety anymore, you can only really go for a few builds depending on the class (due to deboreka accessories)

TLDR: this game is good if you want to turn off your brain and grind like a brainless monkey, but its bad in other aspects like P2W and PVP (at a higher level)

Best looter shooter out here.
