As a Wanzer Addict I gave this game a try and boy I am disappointed.

Right from the start the story doesn't convince you, feels very superficial and it makes you want to skip every cutscene which only gets worse as the game progresses.

The gameplay sometimes feels a little bit fun, but you don't have much time to appreciate it because like in other Front Mission games you have more game modes such as "Simulator" and "Arena" so you can farm, level up and make some money, but here you don't even have "New Game +" or a harder mode it's only the Story Missions which are not that good either.

On top of that the game is not optimized at all, the graphics are bad (even for the year of release), some missions can often crash (had to replay a mission 5 times to complete it) which made me rush the mission resulting in missing some collectibles, in crowded areas the game lags a lot even if you have a good pc, mouse movement doesn't feel smooth and the list goes on...

Another problem is the customization of the wanzer, something that I hoped would help relief all the other issues, but unfortunately that's not the case, the game lacks a LOT of wanzer parts, weapons and it won't even let you preview how a certain part or weapon will look in your wanzer, you need to buy it first so if you don't have the money to buy you can't preview in your wanzer (WHY?)

From all the Front Mission games I played this one is by far the most limited one, lack of cool moments, story feels like it was forced into the game, customization is far from good, the game is not optimized and can crash on some missions.

To sum it up I knew that the game was bad but I wanted to try another Front Mission game cuz I'm addicted to Wanzers but this one I could have left it untouched.
