-In Perseverance of the Sea

A lone ship dares the screaming sea,
The waves, they roar — wrathful and free.
It crushes all beneath it sway,
Yet still i craves a path to wade.

I am trubulent as the sea’s rage
No moon to guide me unto the gate.
For the tide may break the shore,
I was forged to endure more.

Each rope a vow, each burnt kiss,
I shall face the waves open arms.
Every fragments, every trace of pain,
I will forge it into a blessing chain.

O life! Thy fury strikes like flame,
Yet still I shall sail and claim my name.
Now I tame the sea’s mighty rage,
Not for the calm, but for the storm wage.
