Immense power-creeping balance issues. Do not recommend unless they patch.

Graphics are mediocre and the UI is not the greatest, but this is a good enough port from the boardgame to a videogame.

This game is very much pay to win. A glorified casino type game with the front of 'Stronghold - the strategy game'. If you wish to get into this game and get good or strong, you have no choice but to spend money on getting cards or the premium token to unlock a research or building queue.

What is even worse, is that if you go inactive for a month, depending on your in-game rank (which is mostly determined by - OH YES the more money you spend the faster you gain in rank!), all your progress will be wiped with no option to restore your village that you spend real life hard cash on to build.

Very disgusted with how Firefly Studios made this cash grab of a game.

If you are into having a more realistic RPG experience with a slowly progression story that does not go over the top, this is very recommended. The story starts off slowly but the characters you meet and the relationship you build up with them are very well done.

Interesting concept to use the Jurassic Park IP, but lacks any real gameplay.
The first few hours are interesting as you gradually get introduced in how it is run such as parc with the variety of buildings and discovering how to create, modify and find new dinosaurs. However after these initial hours (2-3) the game starts to become really bland. In comparison to other simulators such as Planet Coaster, there is no real management going on in this other than busy work which involves a lot of clicking and offer no real gameplay other than to distract you (I'm talking about you power outages).

If you are looking for a gameplay wise 'old formula' RPG, combined with great storytelling, you will love Divinity 2. Quests can be solved in different ways, there are complex relationships between the characters, there is a lot of lore hidden in the game if you look for it.

Promising game concept. However with the lack of properly prioritizing long-standing complaints such as the terrible optimisations and balance, and instead focusing on just adding more and more dino's in the game for the sake of 'having more content in the game', makes me not recommend this title.

Unique graphical style, I found the story really compelling with a "I must reach this next objective" feeling. The game plays as you expect from a sidescroller, but the mechanics and levelsare much more challenging. You will end up doing a certain area multiple times due to deaths, but you'll feel rewarded once you mastered that tricky jump with deathspikes or figured out how to counter that particular foe. The Definitive Edition also offers more levels and several enhancements that the original version didn't have.

Endless Space 2 is basically Endless Space but with more factions that offer different core gameplay. I really loved Endless Space as I think they really hit the nail on the 4X genre.

In Endless Space 2, they've introduced a new 'Political' party system that will give you empire wide buffs, but they require a certain political representation. You can influence this by using coercion (such as spending gold or influence) or by following the political party's agenda (building, doing research, going to war, ...)

There has also been numerous 'quality of life' improvements, such as the dynamic map overview that shows where your resources come from, who you are allied with, trade routes etc without going through a bunch of menus.

While some of the mechanics appealed to me when I read the description, the entire games feels like a paper rock scissors type gameplay, but with more opposing elements. Instead I rather saw less of these mechanics, but more and deeper gameplay. Graphics wise this game feels very dated, with unfluent animations for all the units.

Despite Game of Thrones being such a great intellectual property, this game doesn't do it justice in any form.
