You can mostly ignore the live service garbage and still get that sweet, sweet match-3 action. Especially if you're playing on Steam Deck; thanks to Unity, your battery will only last an hour or so.

The game loop here, and the way you learn things and unlock things, are absolute crack. I haven't hurt my thumb this much since Tempest 2000 on the Jaguar.

Stardew Valley is an amazing labour of love with incredible attention to detail. Definitely check this out if you've enjoyed building or farming games. I've actually bought this twice (once on Steam, once on my Switch) at full price and probably have close to 400 hours combined... and I'm still excited to play the massive 1.4 content update!

As a long-time fan of Thief: The Dark Project and Thief 2: The Metal Age, Dishonored has absolutely scratched my stealth itch! Outstanding visuals and audio design as well, fantastic game overall.
