yeah, usually i just tell people if they don like how i do content, move along.
i got my own way of doing things. had way to many people trying to tell me how to do this and that and become big on YT.

if i do. it will because of how i do it instead, plus I'm not looking to get big.
more so sicne i been on a year break due to having two new borns. wife works so i stay home and watch and take care of them. which can be a lot of fun and pain when you can barely walk without aid due to parts of my spine fusing.

honestly nothing is wrong with voiceless, and there is still a spot on yt for it. some folk just dont get they can move on.

I like my no voice content. its my preferred way if doing things. and if I want voice, I have a free AI voice over that can do it for me. if I bother to use it half the time.

Not trying to be rude. I'm also broke as hell, living paycheck to paycheck now. I'm not disabled, but I am a social worker for the disabled. Having a hobby is good and healthy, and you clearly show an interest in this - it doesn't have to be profitable - most people don't profit either.

Depending on your circumstances for your disability, you may have options for grants in your state - otherwise, I assume there's the option of free stuff via FBM or something similar.

You may do better to not assume everyone communicating with you online is hostile. The way you communicate comes across as hostile, which usually only gets hostility in return.

I'm disabled, I can not work. I have zero income. and I'm years away from getting on disability. because in the US, i have to bend over backwards and do summersault's while playing the banjo to prove I'm disabled. and that's after getting abducted by aliens.

and that's if i even want one to begin with, I do this for fun, not profit.
not to mention I'm currently on break because I got a 6 month old. so i stream on my discord when i get the chance to.
i currently have no plans to do voice any time soon.

*snowball is $40 right now, and would highly suggest that as a budget microphone. the Seiren is better for needing less setup, less tweaking.

You do not need a mic port. All you need is a USB port. You can pick up a yeti snowball (pretty good budget microphone) new at target (on sale, as of 9/17/24), if you order it. Or, you can take a trip down to walmart - their "onn" brands are okay, not great, but okay.

Alternatively, if you can swing ~50, get the Razr sieren. Also a USB microphone.

most mics do NOT use the "mic port", it's kind of a limited use case, especially for a desktop computer. You'll find it mostly on cheaper devices.
