● Why do so many Russians exhibit intolerable behavior in online communities?
There are 4 reasons for this behavior and the go as follows

1. Most of Russians, and this includes the gamers, know no foreign languages and surely no english. Navigating the one-and-a-half-button menu does not take much knowledge of English, really.

2. Most of them are aged 10-16, and with this age group you can be quite sure their behavior will not be acceptable. Russians or not. Older Russian gamers tend not to play any CS2 They are either more into MMO or into shooters like Battlefield/LFD/etc. Many also play the Russian versions of the games on Russian servers to build communities that extend into real life, while younger players often choose international servers to 'show the yankees'. Quite the opposite of what you'd expect, huh?

3. Russian idea of cooperation and teamwork, especially among the younger generation, looks extremely toxic to an outsider, while in fact it is not that extreme to an insider. Yeah, so harassing your team can actually bolster its morale..if it's all Russian. I've tried, it does work.

4. Most Russian players hate to be paired with other Russian players for just the reasons described, so they actually try to be stealthy and not noticed as being Russians at all. However, when the ♥♥♥♥ hits the fan, they have an urge to retaliate/harass their offender, and that's more important than maintaining a fake identity. After all, chances are you'll never see the players from your match ever again, especially in games with large communities like CS2 and Dota. Oh, and most Russians actually hate being paired up with the same people again, and not the least due to the part that they might remember them being Russian and be biased from the start.

So to summarize they play for themselves, their communication and behavior is a result of trashy PC and inability to be well focus along with life issues. It reflects their honesty and irritation. Their attention span is small, games are like places they go but without any point or goal so it's like they trash talk even though they feel totally indifferent. Like i described, an inferiority complex that at a margin dictates unconcern. The reasons for these are what you see when you look at your own country and self.
