To give a genuine review after basically beating the game. (Possible spoilers)

Intro
The first five minutes of the game brings back nostalgia. It is very similar to The Forest.

The Map
The map is honestly way, way to big. There may be quite a lot to explore but out of the 10 hours I have played at LEAST half of it has just been walking. Which is insane, being teased with broken down golf carts and not being able to drive any of them? On such a huge map? I wish they would add forms of transportation, ziplines... sure. You would have to set them up, and they definitely would not be of huge use across the entire map.

Weapons
There are plenty of weapons, a pistol, revolver, shotgun, compound bow, crossbow, katana, machete, and more. The combat mechanics are basically the same as The Forest. I have no issues with them really, except the irons sights (for me) were shaking too much... and the attachments were put on in place of the iron sights? (Unless you can change it).

Story
It is somewhat confusing and honestly not worth the amount of time it takes to walk everywhere. I hope they improve on it, obviously it is early access.

My biggest issue and I will say it again, was that it was a walking simulator. Exploring the same types of caves and basically seeing the same camps over and over again. I really do not want to crap on the game, and I really did enjoy playing it. But after 10 hours it just gets boring.

Game has SO MUCH POTENTIAL! And clearly it is early access. But wait to spend the $30.
