Pros:
Had an incredible time with this game. I was not so much into the whole revenge story, however, it was a great edition to have within the quests and battles. The game ran smoothly, and only took me 22 hours to 100% complete it with little help from Steam guides. The game-play took a minute to get used to, but man, it was satisfying once you got the hang of it.

DLC:
When I reached the end I immediately bought the $15 DLC to see what else was in store and complete the rest of the achievements. This gave me a few extra hours of gameplay and although I was not the biggest fan of the timed trials, the extra map, story, and 10 extra levels were worth the buy.

Cons:
Although not many, I ran into a few bugs within my play-through. (Crashed at final boss)
The parts of the map where the water is not so deep are tedious to get into battles in as you accidentally surface a lot.
I wish there were more shark progression levels, as I progressed and grew pretty quickly without feeding much on regular fish.

The best/worst game of all time.

Pretty fire. The game itself was pretty easy but I enjoyed the base building a lot. The main materials and things you need to acquire to research crafting recipes were too easy, and I would have liked to see more variety. (I assume there will be in future updates). The guns were also a little odd: the shotgun is incredible and does major damage even from a long distance. I played before the 2024 update and I am excited to see what will be added in the future. Will be coming back once the game develops more for a second play-through.

Although this game has plenty of issues, the overall experience and learning more about the game draws you in. From snakes to poison dart frogs you have to learn how to survive in the jungle and figure out why you are there. Great to play Co-op with friends and even solo to experience the great story mode of the game. Very different than most survival games being so realistic.

I have been a dedicated member of the Counter-Strike Community for years now. The game becomes more unplayable by the day. VAC system needs major fixes and the Overwatch community was the only thing keeping cheaters accountable.
