If you played Bloons Tower Defense 3 in middle school on aging windows XP desktops that struggled with the game about the time you got your first super monkey, just go ahead and buy it. Really. These guys are adorable, and they fight bloons, and it's just everything I imagined all those years ago playing BTD3.

there's a protogen mod for this game that made people on twitter angry so I installed it and now I have funny protogen friends to abandon cause I'm wandering off to get killed, I'd say it's okay

They finally add "Safer Seas" to the game, and yet I'm not allowed to bring my named ships into it? Really? It's a fun game, I've had good interactions with other players, but I've had plenty of bad ones too.

Let us sail our own ships in Safer Seas, then this will be a game that I'll finally feel like I can recommend to people.

I want to enjoy this game, I really, really do- but it's a gamble as to whether the game will run properly on your computer or not.

By all means, go ahead and try it; you might be one of the lucky ones who can run the game without a hitch! Me though, not so much. I've tried almost every conceivable fix, up to and including reinstalling windows itself, and nothing has worked.

Regardless of the graphics settings I have the game on, it simply will not run at 60FPS. If it's paused it will, and if I press F5 it will, but actually playing the game? Forget about it, it just clatters and shudders and struggles between 30fps and 40fps.

I have 32GB of RAM, a Ryzen 7 2700, and a GTX 1070. The game is installed on an SSD, and I have 20GB of virtual memory because DV for some unholy reason hoards a gargantuan amount of Ram Commit Charge, which will eventually crash other programs on your PC if left unchecked.

Like, I love the concept of the game. Driving trains in a first person environment where I get to take jobs and deliver them, it's great! I love it! I've tried to replicate it with the Immersive Rails minecraft mod, but it's just not the same!

And yet, it's just not worth the graphics issues. When the day comes that the devs fix whatever causes these bugs, I'll change my recommendation to a "yes", and gleefully update this review to gush about all the stuff I love about this game.

But for now, I just can't recommend it, it's a deep level of troubleshooting hell that nobody else should ever have to experience. Long story short, if you buy this game and it's running like garbage, try pressing F5 to go into photo mode, and see what happens.

If the game immediately begins running flawlessly once you're in photo mode, then I'm sorry, but you're in the same camp as me, and I don't think there's any way out.

Here's hoping someday there is, eh?

Hours are a bit off since I played this game before it went on steam, but yea it's okay I guess

Company is gradually submitting to the inevitable capitalist greed that ruins every game franchise sooner or later but at least we get to drive tanks in the meantime

But really, the other options are okay. AW and WoT (Armored Warfare and World of Tanks) are similar games, but they both use hitpoints to decide when or how you die, so it's a different kinda world. I dunno, do whatever you want, I aint your dad

I dunno lol I mainly have this game to play it with my friends so my review ain't gonna be much help, if you're a mariokart 7 monster like me then you probably won't have much of a good time with this game but if you like racing games then why not?

I do like it better than Forza Horizon 4 though, the new place is more fun to drive, and I do kinda like the hot wheels area.

At the time of writing this, I have 271 mods. Going from TTW to this has been a trip, but the settlement building and weapon configuration has been pretty great.

Weapon durability is no longer a thing, which personally is fantastic to me, no more not using the guns I like because I don't want to damage them!

I would say that a dialogue interface mod is required, the moment I had to talk to the vault-tec rep and I saw the dumb default wheel thingy was the first and last time I actually laid eyes on that dumb thing. The one I use is XDI, eXtended Dialogue Interface.

I've done it all, man. I have my own prydwen as a workshop item, all I had to do was setscale to make it the right size and fill the empty spaces with my own rooms. Sure, the game crashes if I accidentally try to pick up the ship instead of the items I'm placing on it, but that's just details I guess.

I got fancy guns, protectrons that repair and heal everyone at settlements as well as act as police and mailmen and caravans, I got all my companions with me, I got tank turrets, I got it all man. I'm gonna take over the institute instead of blowing it up, I'm playing as Queen-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥-Chrysalis, and none of this magic would have ever happened if my friend hadn't gifted me this amazing mess of a game.

My friend got me this game as a gift to play the multiplayer, and I love frontier defense so far! I haven't tried the PvP yet, anything faster than World of Tanks tends to be too much for me, but I like frontier defense! Big ol mechs are certainly more impressive than puttin' along in my Maus...

But the story... THE STORY... I haven't played a story based game recently, so maybe my gauge is skewed, but I LOVED it. Just like when I get into a book, I couldn't really focus on anything else until I finished it, and it managed to make me worried at times, happy at times, scared at times, like a good story should!

I'm gonna single out one mission in the game, the time traveling one where you're in a dilapidated facility and you keep time traveling back and forth between before and after it got in such a sorry state, and it's just, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, I haven't been blown away by a videogame concept in years!

Like, there's enemies at the end of the hallway, just go to the past and get behind them and POW shoot em in the face and then you go back to the future and get behind the other guys but oh ♥♥♥♥ there's aliens so go to the past again and kill the guys and go back to the future and POW get the aliens from behind!

And then there's the exploration, going to the future to sneak through vents and going to the past to get through burning rubble and... it's just cool. I played the whole mission being like "Woooaaahhhh" as I learned how to work with the concept, heh.

AND I ALMOST CRIED AT THE END I WON'T SPOIL IT BUT DAMN YOU TITANFALL YOU CAN'T JUST GET ME SO ATTACHED TO SOMETHING LIKE THAT AND THEN DO WHAT YOU DID AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Do you want to become a short bearded alcoholic man fighting space spiders?

Do you also enjoy finding gold unlike in a certain OTHER mining game of cuboid origin? (jk minecraft I love you)

And finally, do you form attachments to robotic mining implements that happen to have nicknames?

Well, chug a pint of oily oaf, blast a glyphid in the face with your shotgun, snatch some gold, stick it in molly, and GET TO THE DROP POD
