That is why I bought VR. I've never experienced anything quite like that. Gameplay is simple with the VR setup. The music is perfect. I was absolutely engrossed.

Brilliant game, especially at a discount. Everything I liked about South Park - funny, offensive, unapologetic.

The gameplay can get a little repetitive sometimes, but it's not terrible. Worth a playthrough.

When I started Rocksmith, I played zero guitar. I could do some air guitar, but that's it. After sixty some hours, I can play some riffs, and play along to some songs, both bass and electric guitar. I'm not a musician, but I'm learning and I'm having fun.

It's not a substitute for a professional music instructor. But, it's surprisingly good. There are technique games for learning chords, slides, bends, etc. There are a good number of songs included in the game, and they continue to add DLC for a wide variety of tastes and challenges.

Will I ever be a guitar god? Clearly not. But it's pretty cool to play something you recognize, and to start learning to play things beyond the songs.

The one major downside to the game is that it does not play nice with sound cards. I had to pull mine out and use onboard sound. Not ideal, but solved lag and distortion issues.
