#Okami creator Hideki Kamiya calls out the '♥♥♥♥♥♥ leakers' over the Nintendo Switch 2

Ace Attorney as a series has come a long way since its inception, and its use of an entirely different setting and time period within the same universe was an incredible breath of fresh air compared to the Apollo Justice trilogy.

It was amazing. The characters really grew on me throughout the two games, both its main characters and the denizens of Britain. It's certainly an improvement that you see the denizens of Britain act as various witnesses or jurors for your cases, compared to Lotta Hart who singlehandedly takes part in like three different murders across the original trilogy and three more in the Investigation duology; it gives the environment a great deal of life, for sure. The plot twists were greatly compelling, and while some twists are inevitably predictable due to seeing similarities between previous AA titles, other twists caught me completely off guard and were pleasantly intertwined with the game's themes on the fight between justice and its corruption.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that split second maomao reaction was so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ well done. Very rarely seen such a technique used in anime where a reaction face is shown for a frame or two only, almost working like a mini jump scare of sorts. Very fitting directing decision for a scene like that with all the context in mind. Also a lot of utterly magnificent background art in this episode. At the end of the episode was a bit surprised though that maomao actually seemed to believe a medicine to revive people was even in the realm of possibility. Would’ve assumed she would’ve thought Suirei was joking from the start her being knowledgeable in medicine and all.
