Grinding. In spaaaaaaace.

Awesome game

You're going to die again and again and again, take a break and come back to dieing, whether it's from a stupid mistake on your part, (which it more than 90% of the time is), or just a silly glitch, you're going to love it. Then slowly but surely you start grasping the mechanics of the game, like what to watch out, when to strike your enemy and with what type of an attack, you start to realize that the best course of action almost always is taking it slow, observing the dangers ahead. That sense of accomplishment when you defeat a boss or complete an area you wiped on dozens and dozens of times is simply indescribable. Embrace the death, and praise the sun! \|T|/

I'd like to point out two things to all the new players in hopes of you not doing the same mistakes I did on my first playthrough; DO NOT start suicide running all that swag Black Knight weaponry, especially NOT THE HALBERD. Using that, I denied myself the full Dark Souls experience because the BKH is simply too ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ OP. Trust me the game CAN get like a boring grind when you 1 or 2 shot every enemy you come across and defeat bosses on your first try, simply by spamming fast attack. The second thing, don't pick the Master Key as your gift, for your first playthrough just pick whatever, and as an extension to this; DON'T for the love of god go searching YouTube for new player guides or anything like that.

You know how to control your character and that's enough. The rest is up to you to find out and experience. This game is a journey of epic proportions and it's a shame I dampened my first experience by already planning ahead by watching YouTube videos of where to get the most ridiculous OP stuff before I even started doing the main "quest".

Oh well, currently on my second playthrough without BK weps/master key and I AM FREAKING LOVING IT. 15/10 game for me, I'm enjoying it way more than say Witcher 3 for example, which is another stellar video game. I'm just rambling now, only because I'm so PUMPED for Dark Souls!

Played for 4 hours or so, died like every 30 sec and got maybe 10 kills. What a POS! I was having a good day but Planetside 2 ruined it.
