CSGO is a shooter quite like no other on the market. It's finely tuned gameplay makes it perfect for a competitive scene, and being one of the most popular E-Sports to date (and the most popular FPS Esport) Counter-Strikes main focus is and has always been competitive play. This game is for people who dedicate lots of time into a single game.

The graphics have much to be desired, however valve intended this to be the case as esports games usually have worse graphics to make performance better and encourage competitive play, so if you are into graphics maybe this game isn't for you.

The guns all feel completely unique and different, and are so dynamic in their controls making certain guns have an extremely high skill ceiling, with the best professionals having to master the exact recoil patterns of guns to get kills. This is one of the things that makes CSGO so fun, and also sets low ranked and higher ranked players apart. In terms of the shear amount of guns in the game, CSGO is lacking however it can be noted that instead of having 100s of guns which all feel relatively similar, every gun in CSGO feels unique.

Another reason CSGO is so good is the constant updates and attention valve and the community has payed to the game. After being relatively untouched for most of 2016 by Valve, late 2016 and early 2017 brought 100s of game changes and updates that kept CSGO alive. While most fps games come and only maintain a player base for about a year before the next one is released, CSGO has held a 10 million strong player base and is only growing, not set to be outdated for at least another few years.

Probably the main thing that sets Counter-Strike GO apart from every other first person shooter to date is the skins. Many first persons shooters have had cosmetic items that change the look of guns, however none have implemented this feature to quite the degree CS:GO has. CS:GOs skins are always being updated, with new ones being added and the great thing is that it is a community project, with thousands of skins going on the market every day, and a small percentage of those even getting released onto the game. While in most games, the skins and 'camos' (as they are sometimes called) are usually dull and don't add much value or cosmetic effect, CS:GO has outrageous designs with flashy colours and intricate detail. Skins have developed into a multi-million dollar industry, through investments, gambling and skin creation. Skins add excitement, thrill and a level of economy and sophistication to an otherwise simplistic game.

In conclusion, counter strike is an amazing game and the best first person shooter out there today so I definitely recommend you spend the $15 at least to take a look!.
