I bought this game for the H2M mode that was supposed to be coming out on Friday, August 16th, 2024. I was excited to play, but guess who needed to ruin the fun. Activision. I have a strong feeling within the next few years they're going to drop a MW2R bundled in with whatever the real mainline CoD will be. Infinite warfare/MWR all over again, this time with micro-transactions and battle passes. I. HATE. ACTIVISION.

@H2Multiplayer on X/Twitter: "Today, our team members received a Cease & Desist order on behalf of Activision Publishing in relation to the H2M-Mod project. We are complying with this order and shutting down all operations immediately and permanently."

I will never support any Activision project ever again. They rug pulled us, they waited until everyone that was interested in the project to buy then game THEN send the H2M devs a Cease & Desist. This is unfair and it is unbelievable. They have only MADE money off this project, it REQUIRES to OWN a copy on steam.

I got this game in early 2021 after watching a random video that was in my recommended in 2019. I was hooked on watching videos for rust for a long time. I finally bought it and started off pretty decent at the game because of all the content I would watch on the game. I can say this is my most played game on steam as of now, and I think it will stay that way.

I think Facepunch as had their few misses with the updates, like the recoil update for instance, I did not really like it when it had come out but now that I have dealt with it for almost two years I can say it is not that bad. I do miss the old recoil badly though.

I have made a lot of memories with this game, like talking to my friends and having a lot of fun trying to help new players. Rust has been a big part of me and I think it has had a positive roll on my life. Now I have had some cold spots where I would not play for months for various reasons, like being busy with life, bad update, into another game, whatever it will be, I will always find a way back to this game no matter how long my break is. I love rust.

10/10

was cool, i first played when bots were just getting started, now that i have played for a little longer i can say public matchmaking is now terrible and you cant really get into the game anymore.

The game is not terrible, it is just eh. Booting this game up you can tell that it is far from perfected like how CS:GO was, There are performance, connection, and hit registration issues.

Performance is far lesser than CS:GO, I understand that this game is more taxing because it has higher resolution textures and is on a newer engine, but with CS:GO (on a much lesser system) I could run high settings at 1440x1080 and still get 500 FPS. With CS2 (and a better system) I have to run all low settings at 1280x960 just to get 300 FPS. This is a bummer because I do care about skins and the lower the settings the worse the skins look. I suggest they work on the performance and optimization of the game.

Connection is way worse than CS:GO, I regularly get frozen in place for 5-10 seconds, this would never happen in CS:GO. I am on the East side of the United States, so I connect between two servers, either Atlanta or Chicago. I have noticed when I am in a Chicago server I have terrible connection issues, but when I am in an Atlanta server it seems to be a lot better (with very little issues) I think they could fix the connection issues by letting people pick what sort of servers they can queue for. (I do know about the max allowed ping setting, that does not help)

Hit registration in CS2 is terrible. I am not blaming my skill (or lack there of) on the game itself. I am bringing this topic up because I have hit AND missed shots that should not have. It feels so off compared CS:GO. I have a theory that is has to do with the packets being sent and received with the new sub tick system. It just feels very inconsistent and wrong. Also, the spray patterns feel very random for some reason? In CS:GO I had great spray with the AK-47 and the M4A4, but since CS2 it just feels off, kind of like Valorant random spray.

I would give CS:GO a 9 out of 10 rating.

I am giving CS2 (in it's current state) a 6 out of 10 rating.

I really hope they make the game better, I really love Counter-Strike.
