This game surpassed my expectations. I always loved the Fallout universe, but I didn't buy this at launch due to lack of content and the usual bug fest of Bethesda games.
So, I decided to buy it at a good discount 4 years after launch and give it a shot. Was it worth it?
Surprisingly, yes. It's not pay to win (I thought it was), it is not buggy and very friendly to new players. The pacifist mode is a god send, you can play safely without worrying about others (though doing events is fun).

I guess this is the least buggy Bethesda game I've played so far. The experience is very good. I am close to level 50 now, for reference. The game engine is the same as always, but it seems improved. It now uses all the hardware you got. With my 5800x and 3060 TI, I can play at Ultra with 60+ FPS all the time. I just did 2 adjustments at Fallout76Prefs.ini (iPresentInterval=0 and fBlendSplitDirShadow=1024.0000) to unlock fps/eliminate the harsh shadow transition with very minimal performance impact. The engine can somewhat handle more than 60fps, just don't let your fps go higher than your refresh rate, this could cause issues.

I loved that playing can earn you Atoms. You don't even need to buy anything at the Atomic Shop to fully enjoy the game, but with the Atoms you earn you can buy useful stuff like Camp slots (more free fast travel points) or Special loadout slots.

The only minor issue with the game is its limited stash space. Today, is 3x larger than on launch, imagine that. Even controlling the hoarder instinct, it's hard to manage space. Also, I find it annoying that you cant select a whole structure and move it on the Camp. You have to move your camp do to that.

TLDR: fun not pay to win game with very few bugs and moderate stash space.
