I genuinely loved playing this game. The battling is fun, the persona fusing is a cool mechanic, social links are a blast to read and just about everything about this game is great.

All of the main characters are interesting with their own unique qualities and interactions between all of them feel like they're actually talking like real people. This game hits every base just about perfectly.

Although as much as I love this game, there are its flaws; Some parts of the game either end up being really slow and somewhat frustrating and other parts just feel so unnatural. You can date most of the female characters you have social links with but to get that you have to of selected specific dialogues on random social links with next to no cue if it was the 'romantic' option.

The other criticism is more minor but some of the music just becomes either repetitive or rather bland. There are really great tracks indeed but some are a miss. But that's pretty good considering this is a 2008 game remade in 2012 and then put onto a PC in 2020 and played by some random guy in 2023.

I only now just played the Golden ending 2 days after this review and this remake is one of the best remakes ever to exist. This game peaked on so many levels I genuinely can't believe people haven't played this. The epilogue in the new ending works so well that I'm shocked it even works to begin with. If you have any respect for great story and gameplay you should play this game NOW.

BTW Naoto is best girl and anyone that disagrees will be thrown into a TV by me.

This is a true masterpiece. It does everything right. With nuanced mechanics, great environmental storytelling, and beautiful graphics, this is a must buy for anyone who has no life. Playing it is truly a great experience, and you can tell the developers truly put a massive amount of effort in to perfecting all aspects of this game.

This gameplay is probably the best I've seen in my life! The shooting physics add an amazing amount of depth, as you must simultaneously predict your enemies path, aim at them, and stabilize the rifle. The AI is also very intelligent and provides a lot of challenge, and although there is only a single map, it is designed so well the game doesn't even need more!

On the subject of maps, the choice to allow the player to phase through some objects makes the map a lot more open, and is very convenient and unique. The long sightlines and large open area encourage the player to use their sniper rifle as intended rather than charging in, which provides a lot more fun, as sniping is more rewarding and requires more skill.

The skill floor is extremely low, which allows new players to easily get the hang of sniping, but the ceiling is extremely high, which allows players to constantly improve, and the improvement is tangibly measured by the well implemented score counter. Racking up kills improves the score, which is a great motivation to play the game more, and there are no microtransactions to speak of, making the game entirely balanced.

The story, although told without dialogue, shows the true struggle and plight of the clone girls, and speaks of the true horrors of war. The palette compliments the dark tones with tons of gray and brown, and gives this game a unique and beautiful look which perfectly meshes with the dark tone of the game.

The graphics are amazing, using the revolutionary unity engine to reimagine how you see your games. With hyper realistic lighting, detailed models, and high resolution textures to create a truly immersive environment. The graphics look so good I could mistake it with real life, and it is complimented with unity's amazing sound capabilities!

The sound is some of the best I have ever heard, with deep bass and detailed treble, allowing the player to hear everything that's happening, and it's tied together with a moving soundtrack, all beautifully mixed in stereo! You haven't lived until you have heard this through a good pair of headphones!

This game is definitely a 10/10, and one of the best games of this decade! If you need any more reason to buy, it's also incredibly cheap, I got it for $ 0.69 on sale! You should definitely buy this masterpiece.

FOR ♥♥♥♥♥ SAKE, I JUST GOT THIS GAME 30 MINUTES AGO, AND IT'S ALREADY IRREPARABLY BROKEN. I OPEN THE GAME AND GO IN TO SANDBOX, PLAY FOR 20 MINUTES WHEN I MAKE A MISTAKE AND IT WILL NOT LET ME SELECT AND DELETE THE PLANE, AND THEN IT SUDDENLY WONT LET ME PLACE UNITS NO MATTER WHAT, I RESTARTED IT AND MY COMPUTER AND THIS GAY ASS PIECE OF ♥♥♥♥ REFUSES TO FUNCTION AT ALL. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ VAGINA GAME.

this game is absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. it is unredeemable. they don't allow you to change controls and have marked it as a swear word so you can't complain! not to mention how pay to play it is! the control screen is bugged to be to large to view! no fov slider! the guns are underpowered and the gun play and movement are not fun.

i'm never going to play this. not after spending 3 hours downloading and another 16 hours waiting just to be told no.

this game is a beautiful mess, the difficulty is insane, and getting good is possible for people smarter than me. dont get this game stupid cod kids we dont need you (we need you).
