Anything other than "Evil" difficulty is too easy. Excellent game.

Thousands upon thousands of reviews have already been written about the Half-Life campaign and its single-player quirks, so I am not going to go into that. However, the Half-Life multiplayer is still as fun today as it was when it first came out. You have one of the best maps for deathmatch, Crossfire, which never gets old. The number of weapons is significantly larger than you would find in modern games that offer online deathmatch-style gameplay. The responsiveness and smooth gameplay offered by the GoldSrc engine pairs well with the high-octane gameplay that is Half-Life deathmatch.

It also runs on just about every modern or old PC, very lightweight and very easy to set-up. What's not to love?

Quite the bad-ass platformer, especially in multiplayer.

Like its prequel, DX:HR keeps the gameplay style up to the player. Go in guns blazing, or quiet as a mouse. Most of the augmentations in this game are quite useful, including the 4 main ones you will toggle. The gun variety is not that of a call of duty game, but you still get a lot of weapons that are a lot of fun to use. The use of meelee weapons has been replaced by a take down, but they surely are a badass way of sneaking around and taking out heavies. Lets not forget to mention innocent civilians.

The main protagonist is someone you will grow attached to. I don't think the developers could have made a better choice with the voice actor. The plot also deals with some pretty interesting stuff concerning the future and human enhancement.

The directors cut is great because it offers the two bonus levels you only get from DLC's and dev commentary which is great to listen to after you've been the game.

Guns can be upgraded a bit too much I think. Your average pistol once upgraded with laser pointers, armor piercing, and damage upgrade becomes a killing machine. But thats rather fair if you're going to put all that into your pistol.\

The game offers a great experience, a good challange a lot of the time, especially if your going a rambo play style. The game also does not babysit you for one thing. If you need an EMP grenade and you don't have one, well you're ♥♥♥♥ outta luck. No candy bars? Sorry, my brother isn't going to give one to you.

If you like stealth first person shooters, this isn't a game you want to miss out on.

No reason to play this when TFC is WAY better in just about every aspect.

Builds excellently upon the original Quake Team Fortress in the glorious GoldSrc engine. What's not to love?

The apogee of theme park simulation. I've spent countless hours playing this game and its predecessor since I first got RollerCoaster Tycoon back in 2002. The first one was great, but the second one improves upon everything that made the first game excellent, thus creating an unparallelled game. I see many more hours of satisfaction from playing this game in the future. 5 out of 5 stars.
