It's got something for basically everyone: building pretty buildings, getting overly technical with hoik and complex machinery creation, tech progression along with progressive gear and mobility improvements, exploration through a customizable-sized rich world, difficult bosses, adventure against unique and interesting enemy types. There's probably more that I can't think of because there's already so much. Basically Minecraft but 2-D and there's enough content in the base game that you won't have to rely on external modding/custom content for at least the first ~25 hours of gameplay.

• Fun to unlock and experiment with strategies.
  
• Interesting and unique concept.
  
• Art style is simple yet quite very nice.
  
• You'll constantly have the game wiki open.
  
• Some occasional typos (translation, I suppose; game originally in Dutch?).
  
• Sense of progression is well-done via longer and longer eras as well as unlocking more advanced resources.
