Oh boy is this game good! Not only is it continually adorable and fun, but it also *really* nails the heavy emotional storytelling . . . if your eyes are dry at the end of this game I don't know what to say! The gameplay is rather simple, with some basic puzzle solving and light bullethell boss fights, but it constantly just feels good to play!

Of course, I cannot praise this game without mentioning the absolutely PHENOMENAL soundtrack that Lena Raine put together for this! Like WOW, not only does it gracefully switch between catchy zone themes as you explore the world of Picnic, but it gets intense during boss fights, and is absolutely one of the driving forces behind the emotional weight of the game. Every single track is a banger! And don't get me started on the final boss and credits themes!

Decided to pick this up again after seeing the betrayal league announcement, and I'm finally getting into it. Took the time to actually research the game instead of just jumping into it, and it's been a significantly better experience.

+ Quick Into The Action
+ Simple Gameplay
+ Potentially Deep Strategy
+ Strong Character Lineup
- Dabbing Frog

Honestly, pretty balanced pros and cons right there, but the pros just win it out.

OK, let's be real here. If ya have a group of friends who have the ability to come and play this game in front of a TV, you're set. I mean, you'd alone be set with just Quiplash, the other games are just icing on the cake . . . you can't not have fun while playing this one.

So yeah, uhh, I got trapped in a net, fell on my opponent's head, and won. And you thought captivity was a bad thing. 10/10

Early Access Review
I haven't played too much of this game yet, but so far I'm enjoying it. I mean, there is definitely an over-saturation of the survival game genre, but I love that Tree of Life strays away from the oh-so-common realistic/semi-realistic graphical style that most other games in this genre tend to use; it's nice to see something different being done visually.

Beyond just that, though, the game definitely does have potential, and I can't wait to see how it develops!

A perfect upgrade to an already wonderful game. Finally, we can have the absolute greatness of The Binding of Isaac without dropping frames constantly! Ya also can't go wrong with the new art style, music, and game content. If you've played the original, there's no point not to get this (Plus, you also get a nice discount!). If you've never played the game . . . what's wrong with you? Just grab this and let's get going!

Super House of Dead Ninjas is a very great old-school style game. There is a lot of difficulty to be found within this game, and that just adds to the appeal (at least to me). Because of this, when you have a good run, you feel absolutely amazing (until you make a mistake, that is).

As far as replayability goes, there is a lot of content to unlock: new weapons, new magic spells, new powerups, and even new costumes. Each weapon feels completely different and creates a fun new way to play (though, I personally just prefer the default weapon loadout most of the time).

Either way, this game is a ton of fun, and I can easily recommend this to anybody who is looking for a fun challenge.
