Absolutely great expansion. Lifts Civ 5 from a worthy successor to a turn-based legend. New civs, new mechanics, new map generation, more mod support. The list goes on. Many hours invested in this game. A+ for history-based strategy.

It's certainly a good game, but it still is in alpha. And there is always the issue of when you are getting updates or if it will ever be a completed game. I would say it is worth the money, but remember, it is early access.
