the comedic timings in this game is unreal
>friends are on the rickety metal bridge
>friend 1: "we're gonna fall"
>friend 2: "we're not gonna fall"
>bridge collapses immediately

what's so good about this is that it connects almost perfectly with the half-life story
play this after finishing half-life 2 and its episodes and you'll get what i mean

so let's talk gameplay, atmosphere, voice acting and conclusion

gameplay is grreat! there are new weapons, new entities, new hazards, even custom animations for each half-life 2 weapon you have

atmosphere can get a little freaky, for 3/4 the game, you'll have to muster up a little courage before opening some doors.

as for voice acting, this is just great, it's not edgy, nor cheesy, nor are any of the voice-lines sound like they're recorded by walmart quality microphones

conclusion? this might just easily pass the criteria as an actual half-life 2 game. just great job honestly
