Despite all the issues and drawbacks(compressed BR, some premium vehicles with debatable stats, questionable game mechanics and netcode, etc.), I've never seen any other game to match the complexity and depth WT can provide up to these days. The more I play this game, the more I learn every day, it feels rewarding enough to satisfy my desire.

If you expect a good balanced, beginner-friendly F2P game, then this will disappoint you.

If you're willing to accept its drawbacks and learn in depth, however, with some perseverance and patience, it'll be worth your while.

Disclaimer: I exclusively play Air Realistic Battle and Simulator Battle, so take my review with a grain of salt if you're looking for ground battle experience.

After putting a bit of time on this, I can say it's at least a decent game that totally worths my every cent. I've never expected this kind of game to be good with guns, and I'm glad I found this gem. Gunplay is right on point, and enemies feel unique and challenging. As you progress, it does get kinda repetitive, of course, but what game doesn't? Fortunately, randomly generated dungeon and composition makes it less redundant, so it holds some replay value.

In conclusion, if you want a good 3rd-person shooter with co-op feature and adequate challenges, this one is for you. You may feel that the price is a bit high for what it provides, though, so if you don't feel the urge to play right now, it'd probably be good to wait for sale. Otherwise, get this one and have a blast.

Not the best, but a welcoming return to the root.

After going through the whole campaign, I can say it's the Ace Combat we all know about.
Thrilling gameplay, check.
Astonishing soundtracks, check.
Cheesy B-esque plot, check.
Stable performance, check.
Remarkable visual(at least in the series), check.

In overall, it's quite great arcade flight game suitable for everyone.
My only gripe would be poor storytelling and somewhat redundant, frustrating level design, but I can accept that.

For beginners, this can be a good start to enter the genre.
For veterans, this one is on the right spot.

Update: Despite several weeks after release of the product, the issues in MP(such as crash, inconsistent connectivity, and lack of anti-cheat) still persists. If you're solely looking for the multiplayer flight game with fair, stable experience, I'd not recommend it.

The one we've waited for a long time, and it finally delivers.
Had so much fun what other broken-ass games released in this year didn't provide.
Addictive gameplay, decent visuals, and gorgeous soundtracks made it truly a masterpiece.

The only things I don't like are unstable backend server and unskippable cutscenes, which bother me a lot, but other than these, I'm impressed.

Gorgeous remake, just as I remember in my childhood. I had never known that I'd play this beauty on PC, but Vicarious Visions successfully brought this masterpiece alive, with stunning visuals and improvements. Well played, Activision. You've got my money this time.

Beautiful remaster. Everything's there as I remember in 90s' classic with visual improvements. I've been hoping BZ2 to be remastered for a long time, and it was totally unexpected. For all strategy lovers who seek for challanging difficulty, I highly recommend this.

Top-notch quality. Everything is perfect, and it's absolutely one of the best film adaptation of a video game so far. If you liked the game, I assure you that you'll love it.

Early Access Review
Finally the game I've been looking for a long time. It reminds me of old Quake days. If you want some fast actions with responsive input, this one won't let you down.

Minimalistic, Spectacular Masterpiece.

The mechanics are pretty simple. You see a word on each successive channel, and then you decide whether the color matches the word. Seems easy and dull, huh? Well, you'll find yourself stuggling so bad while playing this game, though. There are many effects which interfere you by distorting the screen. Besides, the cheeky tricks like 'Don't Switch' or 'Inverted Control' make your gameplay really hard to do. You have to think fast in a second.

The game itself is brilliant and addictive as hell. The soundtracks are so gorgeous, I couldn't resist myself from searching for those(Now they released the soundtrack, so I'm satisfied right now). Most of all, it's free to play now. I'd gotta say this one is the must-play game.

However, please be advised that it's not for those prone to photosensitive epilepsy. You've been warned.

Fly beyond the limit, and take the Air-Dominance back

Vertical Strike is one of AC-style indie game which I like a lot. Arcadish control and maneuver, plenty of armaments, decent graphics(uses Unity-based VSEC engine, thanks @YumenoJMD), everything AC fans could imagine. Of course there are similar games such as Vector Thrust, but this one has a lot of potential and almost flawless perfection for sure.

So, do I recommend it?
The game is really polished, and price is reasonable as well, so why wouldn't I play it?
Too obvious, but I'd say YES.
