Pros :

- Gianni one-liners

Cons:

- Game feels like its the equivalent of being a hobo hooked on LSD lost in a mall and all you got to defend yourself against the super-police coming after your ass is a Nerf Gun laced with some thumb tacks

- There is so much visual noise and effects its hard as ♥♥♥♥ to see what you are shooting at. Some of the guns have super-blinding muzzle flares while the ingame bloom kicks into +300 with text on screen every time an enemy dies, meaning half the time you are wasting ammo shooting blindly as the game flashbangs your retinas

- Enemy animations appear super glitchy at times, often spazzing between a run and an attack animation so they'll run and take a good second to stare at you before attacking. Shooting enemies also fire in incoherent patterns that sometimes dont match the direction they are pointing their weapon at

- There is only 1 looping ambient music track that lasts around 15 seconds and it abruptly cuts

- Why is the audio so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ muffled?

Look, I hate Ubisoft as much as the next guy. BUT I was genuinely surprised how fun this game is.

The presentation and driving is 100% much better than FH5, albeit the lack of a ''search'' setting on liveries kinda suck but the map is actually fun and interesting compared to the boring fields n empty wastes of FH5

The cars also are actually good, FH5 would just hype you like crazy cause they were adding some granny's old Toyota Tercel or DLC packs with already-ingame cars just with cool parts like cmon man I want some cars for RACING! Here they separate em by classes instead of tuning so you won't be seeing some old fiat going at lightspeeds next to crazy lambos and bugattis

The biggest complaint however is the beyond-glitchy Ubisoft overlay, yes I know me too at first I was like ''oh great more bloatware'' but at least they do something interesting with the system by doing challenges that grants you points to buy some ingame exclusive goodies which is actually impressive from some third-party installation . However it just freezes up on screen when it opens up, meaning you gotta close the game and open it up again whenever that happens.

But yeah honestly if you want a fun arcade racer that doesnt dabble too much into realism and just want high speed, stunts and crazy cars give this one a go (especially if its on mega-sale like right now)

Oh and your main character is Gordon-Freeman'esque silent, and does not cringe-babble like in FH5. Thats a big win TBH

Babushka jumpscare

It might not look like much but it hella does what it says on the tin! Its also incredibly accessible, simple and fun! I'm hopeful this little game can grow into something big eventually, its a good headstart in the right direction!

Even more surprising is how this little gem is a one-madman-made game! Its like a David n Goliath situation which honestly is pretty badass.

If you want something simple to fix your itch for a horde-shooter a-la COD Zombies without battlepasses, mictrotransactions and it taking a whole terabyte of space by itself, definitely give this one a look.

While at it, grab a few friends and have a gamenight!

Its like if Postal and Blast Corps had sex

Game wears its Fzero X inspiration on its sleeve, I absolutely love this little indie gem! Dont sleep on this one, its got hella promise!

Its early access and yet its an absolute blast, the music is INCREDIBLY good mixing some fzero X soundfont-esque tunes with some heavenly japan-synth and hard-rockin' tunes, cant wait to see what's more to come cause what we got as a little sample here is deffo making me interested for more.
