This game is quality, as is to be expected from Supergiant Games. You really can't go wrong with Pyre. It's got great music and art, probably the two best parts about the game in fact. The gameplay is fun and I enjoy the different characters and the ability to add talismans to them, acting as a "buff" of sorts. Plus the characters level up and have talents which adds to a huge amount of possibilites and combinations. The story is really fun so far, I like how you can choose different paths and I love the highlighted words that give some details on certain names and places.

I got it on sale but I would gladly play full price. The game is absolutely amazing. If you want a cross between Bioshock, System Shock, Dishonored, and some Metroidvania elements, then play this game. Even then, I would suggest it if you're even interested. Runs really well too, and it's super fun.

If you want more Meat Boy then this is the game for you. Really, if you're a fan of precision platforming then this is the game. Great music too, I was really impressed. This game is super difficult though, but that's a good thing!

It's worth the buy at $15 dollars right now, even if you're on the fence. In the future I can see $20 dollars being a very reasonable asking price as well. The voice-acting, art, music, and animations are all top-notch. Behemoth's creativity goes unparalleled. It's really a great game - you can't go wrong with this developer.

The reviews aren't blowing it out of proportion. It's truly deserving of such praise.

There's really not much that is bad to say about the game. A robust game, for sure. Great customization and lot's of choices for classes and abilities. The genius about this game is two things: the pawn system, and fighting monsters.

There's so much versatility with fighting monsters. See those lizard-men? Go for the tail, it'll ♥♥♥♥ em' up. See that cyclops? Why, shoot the eye!

Now, pawns. Chatty as they may be (you can easily fix that), they are great. Thousands of pawns or companions are at your disposal and each one is more or less unique. You make your own as well as your personal pawn which others can use. It's great!

Lastly, on my potato of a machine it runs alright. Not the best and there are some technical glitches here and there just because my laptop is not meant for gaming, but I can get enough enjoyment out of it that I cannot suggest it enough to anyone. If you doubt you can run it, chances are you can. I have a Intel 4000 graphics card and it's not too shabby.

So far, it's a solid 9/10.

When you combine the tactical combat and chance-on-hit mechanics of XCOM, world view and company managment on Mount and Blade: Warband, and random events of FTL, you get Battle Brothers.

Battle Brothers is a diamond in the rough. It's a game that has combined systems of others and has managed to create a fresh new gaming experience.

You are the leader of a mercenary company. Your job is to simply do what mercenaries do best: take on dangerous jobs for sweet, sweet money. You'll face goblins, bandits, undead, and orcs. There are perils aplenty, and to combat such things, you have to create a team that can be versatile in all combat situations. This is where the game shines, in the freedom of creating a strategic team that can survive any situation.

You can buy gear, hire more mercenaries with unique traits, and devise tactics to overcome your foes. In combat, it all pays off. But beware, for the game is brutal and unforgiving. Such is the life of a mercenary, to live and die for glory and gold.

The music is beautiful and crafted wonderfully, and the art-style of the game is charming and very fitting. What I love a LOT about the game are the small little descriptions of mercenaries you hire. They all have little backstories which helps me live inside this randomly generated fantasy world. I love it because I can create my own stories in the absense of a campaign. The writing is also simply superb and well-written.

Though it is early access, it is worth your time. I am looking forward to all of the updates that will be rolling out throughout 2016 and beyond. As it stands, Battle Brothers is worthy of praise.

I cannot in good conscience suggest this when there are better alternatives: Shadowrun: Dragonfall and Shadowrun: Hong Kong (which are spectacular).

This game is very lacking. I finished the game at 9.7 hours (I quit before, and came back after playing the other two games and started over). The story is mediocre at best, and sometimes rediculous and lame. The ending comes so fast you really go "that's it?"

Basically, the other two are better worth your time because they're great. This however, like the story, is mediocre.
