This is a fantastic game and I honestly recommend it. In spite of this, I offer prospective players a warning.

While this game is not difficult, this game demands time. Time is Warframe's hidden premium currency. I have 2300 hours in the game and I have still not completed all the content available at this moment. Getting resources, weapons, parts, Warframes, all of that takes time. Not necessarily gacha game levels of time, but not insignificant either. Expect a grind.

To make matters worse, the game is terrible at telling you what a new player should do. Get a friend to help you out. Look on YouTube. The game will not help you, but the community will (side note, Warframe has one of the most kind communities you'll see in a game.)

But if you can work through the first dozen or so hours of not really understanding the game? You will find Warframe to be one of the most fun and unique experiences you can have in videogames. You have literal *years* worth of content to play in Warframe.

TL;DR: Warframe's earlygame is rough because the game doesn't really tell you anything. After that the game is a blast. Demands your time, but spending that time is fun regardless.

Before I explain why I have made this review negative, I should mention that thus far I have had an absolute blast with the game. It's fun jumping into a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane format with Pend FTK, Virtual world with True King of All Calamities at 1, almost full power Adamancipator, Prank Kids, and Drytron as some of the top decks.

Maxx C is also at 3, so if you hate Maxx C, I would recommend against playing the game.

However, Master Duel is fundamentally problematic in that it is a singles format. In other words: If you play Master Duel against other players, there is no side deck. This makes deckbuilding extremely painful if you're looking to optimize your deck for the best chance of winning.

Duel Links has a side deck! Why can't Master Duel have a side deck!

If Master Duel gets side decking adding, I'll change this review to positive. Until then, it remains negative.

I have a little over 200 hours on this game on Origin, and I can safely say that each and every second of this game is a blast. If you like FPS, you owe it to yourself to give this game a try.

This game has been going for four years now and Titanfall 3 may very well be in the works. If you have any inclination to try this game, listen to that inclination and try it. It's some of the best FPS fun you will ever have.

This is an amazing game that is absolutely brimming with potential. Most fun with friends, but certainly enjoyable solo. I give it a solid 8.5/10 in it's current state.

This is one of the greatest games of all time. Despite it's obvious age and almost impossibly silly nature, it has managed to keep itself sailing for over a decade. Here's to the decades to come.

Edit 6/7/2024:

Unless something changes, there will not be another decade of TF2. This game is INFESTED with bots, and the overwhelming majority of them are not even seen by the average player. Cheaters run rampant in official servers, forcing anyone who wants to just play a good game of Upward to move to an Uncletopia/other community server. It is unacceptable that the community has to find workarounds for this problem.

But the worst part of it all is that TF2 has been essentially abandoned. This has been true for many years now it's just become more obvious HOW abandoned the game has become. The content we do get is rarely quality checked (skins, cosmetics, maps), game breaking bugs remain unfixed, and even SIMPLE things that could be done in a matter of hours to improve the game are simply... not done.

I love TF2. I love it more than any other game I have ever played, and I don't think that will change. With that said, something needs to change. Do not spend money on TF2 until something changes.

Your move, Valve. We've let ourselves live in blissful ignorance for long enough.

This game, is incredible. The gameplay is nearly flawless, and the idea is brilliant. But first let me addresss everything the naysayers about this game say. 1: Predictable storyline. Hmmmmmmmmmmm I would agree with you there... except you didn't play the whole game. Seriously, almost everyone who says this has not played the whole game. And for the few who did, you clearly did not watch your surroundings enough. The point of the story was to make you want to play more, and it certainly did well on that note. 2: Not very hard. Again, play the whole game first. True, the game was not THAT hard, but I cannot think of a puzzle game that executes the gameplay as well as portal does. While the game itself was not terribly hard, the community has certainly made some head scratching test chambers that will make you want to eat your own words. 3: Crashes. The game does not crash anymore (except on windows 8 so far) so ignore those reviewers who say that because their review is now irrelevent.
