The new patch is absolutely amazing. This is how the game should have been, and it's important we don't give publishers passes on awful releases, then years later fix the game. So I will not be giving this the best review it can get, but I think it's important to note that they addressed almost all issues and made the game go from a 6/10 on release to a 10/10.

Game is actually quite fun for what it is. It's easy to learn, hard to master type thing. The gameplay is fast so grinding isn't TOO bad, and the battlepasses are great value for what the cost. I really wouldn't even say the game is pay to win, as much as it is play to win. The more you play the more you unlock, you can mostly just buy cosmetic stuff. It's a mix between the FFG Warhammer 40k card game and Lost Cities tabletop game. The only thing I don't really like is the snap mechanic, it can kinda be abused and be turned into a bluffing game. Which no one ever retreats unless they're down bad. Overall I highly recommend it for a pooping game, or if you work from home and on a meeting.
